It’s already happening, in the last couple of games he’s looked as directionless and clueless as the rest of them at times....

Hard to say given the mess we are in,that would drag any player down as we have started to see with laxalt.Next season we will get a better idea when we have a new manager.

I think Turnbull will end up being a great player for us if he's given the chance. The rest will be sold at a loss not up to the quality we need.

Laxalt looked ok at the start but he's no better than average not even close to the quality of KT.

I think going forward we need to stick to trying to bring through young talent and only signing real quality from the international market. We take far too many risk and most of the money spent is wasted.

If we spent anywhere near as much on home grown talent we'd have a decent team.

‘Real quality from the international market’, mate we’ve brought in a Greek international goalkeeper, a Swiss international striker, a Norwegian International, a Uriguayan full international who has starred at the World Cup and the Irish national team captain who has played at a major international tournament. That’s the best, on paper, from the market we compete in. We aren’t gonna attract international level players from the likes of Spain and France. The signings haven’t worked out, largely because they aren’t good enough but also because there’s something rotting behind the scenes and * knows how that might impact players’ settling in. So we need to call into question the scouting network and ofc the board for allowing these players to be coached by three morons.

I get what your saying but the level these guys are playing at is way below what's expected for a Celtic player. We have signed more * players in PL's time at Celtic than good players.

You can have all the caps going but doesn't necessarily mean your a winner. I'd rather have a team of guys that win and grind out games than guys that play silky when all's well but * it when the going gets tough.

I get you, but this team is still made up of, for the most part, winners. Even guys like Barkas, Ajeti and Moi have won domestic titles for clubs with fans as demanding as us in their national context. Furthermore, Sevco’s steam is literally packed with losers but they are steamrolling it. So either the ‘winning mentality’ doesn’t really count for all that much or, the winning mentality that our players did have has been completely sucked out of them by the shambolic management team and the atmosphere caused by negligent circus in the upper echelons of the club. The latter seems more likely to me.

I don't really see how anyone can make a proper judgement on any of the new guys individually, the way the whole team is playing as a unit is just grim, even guys that have shown their quality consistently for years like mcgregor look a shadow of themselves right now.

The simple answer is we have regressed and they have got better. When that happens the dominance gap disappears. Previous years we were dominating a poor league. When you sign inferior players this is the equation you end up with. When in a dominant position in any sport you have to keep adding quality to it. We have not and have been found wanting
