Couldn't get away to Bolton quickly enough when he thought he was the bees knees, now lingering on like a skidmark you can't even pish away because he knows it's his last decent job in football.

A guy who failed at Bolton and Hibs is managing us to disaster in one of the most important seasons in our history.

There's nothing fraudulent about Neil Lennon. He's one of our most successful Celtic men. As player, and as manager - a highly decorated trophy hall. He saved us when Rodgers abandoned ship last season. He delivered. He had us playing football that was pleasing on the eye last season. The fan base was sick of Rodgers style of football which we branded stale. Lennon was successful in upping the standards last season undeniable. He delivered. We fell short in Europe - same old story.

The personal insults are totally unjustified. Not a single one of you would walk out on hundreds of thousands of pounds a year. In fact I commend him. I commend his strength. He's got to try his best to sound strong. He believes in himself. He's done his best - this season it's not good enough its gone * up. Lennon knows this. He will leave Celtic and there won't be an ounce of bad feeling. The guy is a Celtic Legend. Celtic to the core.

Lennon is on our side. It's the board that have absolutely been negligent behind the scenes. Lennon knows himself he should be sacked. The board have blown tens of millions! The recruitment has never been right! The Champions League qualifiers have always been gambled away defensive signings letting us down particularly. Because Celtic play so many games, so many of our players end up crocked as well before these qualfiers. Domestic success has been achieved but we've thrown away 5 years of an advantage to Rangers through the boards negligence. Also the split between the Green Brigade and the Celtic board - The political wing of Celtic, the North Curve the atmosphere - the board despise the artistic and passionate element of Celtic the beating heart of modern football culture. Of course we should have an Ultras group just like every other club in Europe. The board fight against the fans.

Sad but very true post. Mercenaries is a great term in this * show.

We're a plaything for the elite and entitled. Never thought that Lennon would be part of the cartel.

Likely they're struggling to get any * to take the job and have just asked him to hang in there, imo.

 

Exactly mate, it’s a * horrible state of affairs and a sheer dereliction of duty from Lawwell. So people think Lennon has to walk whilst that * pockets millions, a few need to wake upto that fact imo.

 

The whole thing is beyond farcsical now. Lennon should have walked 2 weeks ago,the board should other have asked him to leave on that night or be told they would need to remove him.Lennon decided to stay to attempt to fix this and it has gotten far worse.

The board have * it now by coming out and backing him publically ,thinking we would turn it around with 5 easy games,but we have * this also on our first game...they cant backtrack now as it they will appear weak.

In my opinion Lennon will get the cup final with a chance to leave getting the Quad Treble (if it happens),and then the board will again ask him to leave just after it,probably blaming the fans on their actions outside Parkhead and that it aint working out anymore and it in the clubs best interest. This would appear to get the scum board off the hook by getting rid of him,but also thanking Lennon for the Quad Treble and going out on a high......Not realising that the fans are way beyond * off about this league run and the points dropped that many of us dont give a * about the final now.

The board are pure scum,thinking they are untouchable....they are in for a big surprise when the Season tickets renewals,merchandise etc gets back up and running and we have * the 10,because it aint going to happen.
