Let’s just ignore the difference in managerial
ability, because there’s no comparison to be made.

Stein created history by winning those 9 titles in a row. So when we eventually lost the title, it was inevitable really. Lennon is currently throwing away 9 years of work to create a new record, with a whimper. And refusing to resign when he’s * up one of the biggest seasons in our history.

If the board had any sense he would have been away weeks ago.



If Lenny had any dignity he would have resigned weeks ago.

 

I think he does want to go and has maybe even tendered his resignation but it's been refused, but due to some blind loyalty to Desmond, who I think has asked him to stay on until they get a replacement. What he doesn't seem to realise (or maybe he does) is that by doing this he is of course betraying the club and fans. Now if he was a true Celtic man and seen the bigger picture he would have realised this and walked immediately, or should have walked by now.
