    John Kennedy isnt “the” defensive coach, but he is a coach who has been part of a coaching team which has been unable to address serious issue in defensive shape and organisation for some time now.

    whats more is that there isnt a lot of others in that coaching set up who will be better placed to address these, being a defender himself. Whatever way you try to gloss over it, it doesnt reflect favourably on Kennedy.
