    Something I can live with.

'O truly necessary sin of Adam,
destroyed completely by the death of Christ!
    O happy fault
that earned so great, so glorious a Redeemer!'

Now I fully expect to get properly battered for this....

But this desperation to remove both Lennon and Lawell, reminds me of what happened at Arsenal in Arsene Wenger's final days of management. Fans there were seriously unhappy with an under performing team, and poor investment in their playing squad.

I accept Lennon isn't Wenger, and as a team it's obvious we have underperformed so far this season.

But... Football history shows changing manager doesnt always bring the success everybody naturally expects.

You will answer to him as we all will.

Matthew 25: 31-32, "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats."

    £50 bet accepted.

I’ll happily take the £50 from you at the end of the season.

Won’t be happy at seeing us lose the 10 but your £50 will go some way to drowning my sorrows.

    Prefer this:

Ezekiel 25: 17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the
Inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in
The name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of
Darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost
Children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious
Anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know
My name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

    Of course it doesn't.
But sticking by one who is currently failing, and failing massively over a very prolonged period is absolutely bonkers to say the least.

If one thing is not working, fear that the change may also not work is not enough not to change.

Tbf mate the problem lies deeper without a doubt but the keeper at the moment is a good part of it, was never a massive Craig Gordon but there was many occasions you would say “ that was some save from the keeper “, but I think Barkas must be near enough double figures in games and I’ve honestly yet to see him make one save you would genuinely say “ right good save from the keeper “, any decent shot on target is a goal then they big staring eyes after it

I agree with some of that mate, it took Alex Ferguson 4 years and 7 to win his first league title

Because Man U were so bad he was given a lot of time and eventually turned out to be the most successful manager in history

nowadays if you don’t hit the ground running, fans are on your back, as much as I want Lennon to leave it’s very difficult for a new manager to come in and do that

There’s hundreds of examples of new managers coming in and failing, there’s hundreds of examples of new managers coming in and being successful.

Picking one example doesn’t justify keeping Lennon.

It’s very different when you’ve got a team of players who are already proven winners and champions.

These examples are so far fetched.

What relevance does that have to our current situation ?

I don't recall fergie taking over a group of winners and reducing them to serial losers that canny defend.

Supporters would be more than happy to give Lenny time if there were signs that we were heading in the right direction, but it's clear that Lenny is clueless and the players are not playing for him, to allow this to continue is insanity.

Their far fetched mate, a think what we’ve did last 4 year is tremendous, and you can’t argue that their proven winner s and champions, probably in previous season s a new manager could come in when we were usually at least 8 points clear and by far the best and in form team in the league as Lennon actually did do in18/19 season ,steadily the ship

but coming into a team who morale and confidence is at rock bottom, shipping goals for fun and their biggest rivals playing out their skin to turn that around in 5 or 6 months would take 1 helluva manager

no saying he wouldn’t be successful eventually if given the chance but as far as the 10 in a row season goes it would take some doing an by the way I’m not saying we should keep Lennon am just saying it’s a tough ask for a new manager no matter how good he is to turn things around as far as this season goes

Genuinely curious, why would you be on here looking for someone to match a bet at evens when you can walk into the bookies and get it at 3/1?
