It's not defending them it's just not slaughtering them for something we don't actually know about. The wheels could be in motion, we don't know what goes on in the boardroom, we're just guessing with little to no evidence. They haven't come out and stated Lennon will be here for the foreseeable future, the end of the season or that he's the man to turn it around, he's had the boards 'backing' and them asking the fans to get behind the club which more often than not is the kiss of death for a manager.

Celtic fans have told (repeatedly) Neil Lennon that shipping more goals and losing games is not whats needed.....but he still carried on regardless.

Does Lennon not realise if fans were at the games it would be much much worse. He has no right to say it’s not needed.

 

I agree we’re speculating what’s happening now.

What’s not speculation is what’s happened (or more to the point, not happened) in the past month. That’s what they’re rightly being slaughtered for.

Taking too long to do something is a valid thing to criticise someone for.

 

It is made more frustrating because there is a very real possibility a good appointment could win the league. It is very doable, we have good players and a * dinosaur gaffer.

The board are lazy horrible * who want to scrape by if possible for business reasons (more interest with competition). If we continue with zlennon the league is as good as gone.

 

The fact that a manager even has to request that a support doesn't protest against his continued appointment is farcical.

2 days after Desmond stated to the Scotsman that he will happily go against popular opinion on football matters.

They are very lucky people that there are no fans at the game just now. They can hide behind their fences, dinghy all the social media comments, dinghy emails sent to the SLO about fan disillusionment.

They can't hide forever though. Their day of reckoning is closer than what they might think

 

He is also making a total laughing stock of himself and the club.

Its all about self preservation now mate..lennon couldn't give two * what we or anyone else thinks...

 

This would’ve shocked me a couple of weeks ago, but it doesn’t surprise me anymore such is the deterioration of standards at our club in the space of a few months. Nothing that Lennon, Lawwell or anyone else at the club says shocks me anymore. Sad, sad state of affairs.

 

It's actually embarrassing as * for Lennon to come out and say please don't come out and protest about me being the manager.if he doesn't want it to happen he knows what to do

 

There is literally a fence erected around Celtic Park to keep an angry mob of Celtic supporters away from the manager and players.

Surely to * if symbolism shows anything, then it's how desperate and dire the situation is right now.
