You get the feeling that Lennon has rehearsed his after match speech every week now, and that is exactly what he is saying to Lawwell and Desmond in these * ZOOM calls. Should be renamed ZOOMER calls.

Again I don't disagree as I think I have illustti over and over. Our record is pish poor as of late. But as another poster mentioned above. In isolation, losing 4-2 to Milan away is not the end of the world. By all means hammer Lennon and the team for the occasion it is deserved. The defending tonight is in no doubt atrocious, but 4-2 again Milan away could have happened under our very best managers of the past with our very best teams. It's all about prospective here.

Their is absolutely no point on jumping on this occasion as a reason to sack Lennon. The previous results and performances do that.

All these interviews and press conferences that he does before and after games. Why has no journalist ever heard what he's said and just follow up with a pressing question? If he talks about how managers don't get sacked for nothing, they can just read him out the reality of results this season and ask him if that seems like nothing. Pull him up on contradictions like saying he would understand if he was sacked but then also saying you don't just go for no reason. When he was talking * about players not playing for the team, press him after about the same players playing then despite him saying that. If he is talking about how he is pleased with the reaction from his players tonight, bring up how this result is comparable others that previously wasn't good enough either. Isn't it their job to do this? Surely if you're a journalist, you'll get more eyes on your story if you're the one person that makes him actually squirm on the nonsense he speaks rather than just writing up his prepared monologue. Has anyone actually straight up just said, "Results aren't changing, fans online all wnar you to leave, you've been protested against to leave and you're aware that at this point fans are not buying a word about tou turning it around. Why haven't you just resigned now. Aren't you failing all the fans by doing this?". Might seem confrontational but you're a journalist and the people would like to know why he's persisting like this.

    Mate.

    You have just said,

‘By all means hammer Lennon and the team on the occasion it is deserved
    ’.

Then, in the next sentence, you said,

The defending tonight was no doubt atrocious’.

Surely you can see the contradiction there? How can you not distinguish results from performances?

I didn't skip past it at all. I absolutely acknowledged we shouldn't lose 2-0 to Ross county. I just said that shouldn't be compared to losing 4-2 to Milan. It's completely different. Not even remotely the same.

And yes of course their should be prospective. £60m worth of strikers are likely to be dangerous. Ross county strikers against us shouldn't be dangerous.
    That is prospective.

Lennon and the team desvere the criticism for the loses to county and Sparta Prague. Even tonight deserves criticism but by no mean should the context be ignored. Losing to Sparta and Ross county are shockers, tonight, shocking defending, but is the result a shocker? Absolutely not.

Being 2-0 up in any game and losing 4-2 is pretty poor from a game management perspective.

When you factor in that we've taken the lead in all 3 Europa League away games and failed to hold onto it in any of them (2-0 up v Rennes - ends 2-2, 1-0 up v Sparta - ends 4-1)

When you also factor in that we are:

    • Out of the Champions League qualifiers
    • Out of Europa League with 2 games to play - 1 point and on course to potentially concede the most goals of any Europa team ever
    • Out of the League Cup
    • 11 points in the League with 2 games in hand that can't be banked on as wins in current form
    The perspective.looks pretty atrocious.

I’m confused. Don’t get your point of view at all.
    Do you want Lenny sacked?
You think he should be sacked/deserves the sack for previous * results. But shouldn’t be sacked for this result.
    Have I got that right??

He'll cling on until the scum game, they'll skelp us, and then he'll be sacked after that. Them being the ones to get Lennon sacked will be truly sickening.

I literally have no understanding of your idea of perspective.

Take the game in isolation? We lost 4-2 after being 2-0 up. We gift wrapped goals. Again.

I can't take this game in isolation. The whole season has been a cluster * and tonight is another piece of that jigsaw.

Again really good points and a weighted, decent argument that I won't disagree with.

All I say is losing to Milan 4-2 Way from home not in the same.company as the rest of these damming stats, atleast in isolation. It could of.and has happened to better Celtic managers and teams.

    Nothing new to say.

It won't get better until Lennon goes, we lack organisation, we need a proper coach etc etc.

    See you Sunday.

Yet more schoolboy defending errors tonight, a goalkeeper thats a Greek Statue who never moves or has made a save and yet another game thrown away due to shambolic defending thats been happening all season yet no mention of this in the post match interview or refusal to discuss and Lennon says we are winning back respectability and he's happy with the performance ?? The man is deluded and is just having a laugh now, for a while actually.

100%AGREE, once lennon said me peter and desmond agreed to sort this out is the moment i have lost allrespect for lennon as a manager they are 100% taking care of their finances above the care for celtic football club, just another yes man to go along with the other second rate managers that they think they can get away with, and that is why in the second biggest time in our history we have been *.

In isolation, tonight's result could have happened to any Celtic manager. Pulling the trigger tonight isn't the right time. We missed that opportunity at the weekend. That simple.
