I'm not offended, actually. Speaking as someone who has in the past posted things they later regretted, that is exactly the kind of post that would seem funny at the time and have me cringing the next day. You guys crack on if you feel differently.

This * guy, honestly.

A load of corporate guff designed to pacify the peasants. They think we're reactionary idiots, when in reality many of us saw this coming a mile off. We called for modernisation, a proper coach, a DOF, an academy worth talking about.

They gave us none of it. Just the same old *, lurching from one transfer window to another hoping to plug the gaps. We should have a scouting system that sees us filling our youth ranks with promising talent from around Europe and beyond. Instead we have Chris * McCart overseeing a whole lot of nothing.

The gall of this * character, telling people who turned down refunds last year, and paid hundreds of pounds to watch shoddy streams, how we should come together in a time of crisis.

I'll tell you, Neil Lennon undoubtedly needs removed, but when I'm apportioning blame for this fiasco It's 90% this * and his paymaster, and 10% Lennon.

exactly. The more time goes by, the more I realise it’s unfair to lambast Neil solely for this debacle, and I regret questioning his status as a ‘Celtic Man’. Yes, he could and should step down and yes he is holding the club to ransom for his financial gain it would appear, or maybe he truly believes he can turn this around. But the man to blame is Lawwell, he hired Neil initially and he is the one who is acting outworn the interests of the fans and against the sporting gain of the club. He’s a piece of *.

As I said earlier What should of been a routine sacking of a manager that is clearly out of his depth, not good enough and failing miserably at his job has now become a running battle between supporters and the Club..

Now we get this insulting statement.. how thick do they think we are..

Someone else eluded to it earlier about shifting merchandise after the final and Christmas merchandise which Id imagine Lennon will be plastered all over..this actually wouldn't surprise me anymore

 

I've seen so many people saying they're not even going to be watching the match on Thursday (myself included tbh). There's absolutely no chance the board are blind to the disillusionment amongst the support just now, so the worst thing about that statement is that they truly do not give a *. They treat the fans with contempt, then people will vote with their wallets.

 

I didn’t suggest it had anything to do with what’s happening just now. The guy posted saying we won the league because of their financial position, which is patently and factually incorrect. As you say, you can’t ignore the facts, 15 points behind in October and top of the league at the end of December.

The rumours of their impending demise had being doing the rounds on the old AOL message boards since the early 2000’s after a Dead Cheats FC director publicly said they were in trouble and said rumours aren’t accredited to any other league title.

So, we deservedly won the league in 11/12 through extreme adversity and spectacularly turned it around whilst they continued to throw money at it as they traded whilst insolvent. Christ their administrators tried to buy Daniel Cousin the week after they were in admin!!!

so, let’s not rewrite history, we deservedly caught the cheating * and thumped them. Let’s not fall into the bigot trash media slant and use it as another stick to hit the manager with. He has many failings and absolutely has to go, but the victory in the league in 11/12 was hard fought and deserved, not won because the cheats imploded.

DON’T TRY TO REWRITE HISTORY! Especially as a mechanism to belittle the achievements of Celtic.
