Neil Lennon

The fact Lennon is refusing to walk tells you a lot about his 'Celtic man' credentials... after all he couldn't get away quickly enough the first time when the bright lights of Bolton came calling.

He's a Neil Lennon man first and foremost.

 

I've seen the board get a lot of unwarranted stick in the past and thought it was way OTT but this week I feel is a genuine watershed moment there is literally nobody able to put a good case forward for the defence of the board the support universally accepts that Lennons time is up and the majority have done for a while now and with the boards actions in the last few days I think they will find it hard to get us back on side

 

Sun and Record also both stated he was set to leave yesterday with crunch talks, now he's suddenly staying?

He might end up staying, but they know eff all.

Maybe he doesn't anymore. He seems to have gotten a bit contemptuous of the fans in recent times. It's possible he sees himself as a victim of our ingratitude. All that standing by the club and all that and a few lousy games and we want him out. He probably still thinks everyone else is the problem.

 

I feel it must just be a case of "delay a day and don't let the protesting fans think its been all up to them." Posturing.
Will be astounded if Lennon isn't sacked tomorrow. I worry for Neil if he has to take us to Milan. The players who have chucked it to spite him will be lining up to take shots into Barkas wondering what they need to do to get him to *.

 

See if I had a direct debit for a season ticket. I’d cancel it without a second thought. I’ve never seen such a big * you to the fans in all my years.

From the board, to the managers, to the players can really all get *. They have literally turned last night into a “poor Celtic” “woe is me”

I genuinely think it's nothing other than the money he is staying for now. Look at his interviews yesterday he's cracking jokes and laughing after the game then acknowledges he may not be in the dugout on Thursday. He's been telling us to keep this run in perspective for months now it started off as just a bad week after the hun game. He is rapidly losing any respect or legacy for me and the board have also more or less threw him to the wolves by not removing him

 

It will likely be Lawwell’s last season, so they’ll just remove him and get someone new in and blame it all on him.

We need to organise now and do something that permanently prevents this from happening again.

I doubt there’s any chance of that though. A group like the Green Brigade got slaughtered by many for a very tame banner a few days ago. Those same people aren’t rushing to apologise to them either, such is the partisanship in our support these days.

Never,, they would never do that, they always tell the truth,,,

 

This has now went beyond the managerial situation.

The support should now be at war with the board... that’s not an exaggeration.

They have been happy to use 10IAR as a marketing tool when it comes to selling season tickets but now that it’s all going wrong, we are just a bunch of “entitled” yobs.

Lets get this straight. We should be miles ahead of anything in the Scottish league given the size of our support and the financial gulf we have over every single team. The negligence from the board is criminal and they wonder why our support is so outraged.

 

Surely, surely not.

 

So DD wants to give Lennon the chance to overturn bad results around, starting at the San Siro.

He's basically now only in a job as a get it up ye from the board to the fans anyone with any self respect wouldn't allow themselves to be used that way.

 

Boycott everything celtic for the foreseeable future,really think its coming to that.

Hit the board where it hurts(in the pocket)stay away from the store/online this Christmas.
These people have made it clear that we the fans are not relevant to them and how they run our club.

Thats their choice and we have a choice how we react,we can moan about them and nothing else or we can take action.To me the best thing for us to do is dont put another penny into the club till we see the club being ran the way we see fit.
