Not consciously, but put it this way, you’re not working on shape today or getting stressed about player effort when you know the goose is cooked.

As much as I hate Walker I reckon Boyd is the new BFDJ - just as bitter, just as fat, just as illiterate and, basically, just an out and out hun. and I totally agree with you that he should not be commentating at our matches but, it's Sky we are talking about here.

Is he actually taking training today or is that just a rumour?

I would think twice about attending a demonstration at the height of a pandemic, but I will defend people's right to protest.

I have no doubt that people on both sides were glad of the opportunity to cause chaos though. I have witnessed, and indeed been subjected to, disgraceful policing at football games, but I have also seen some members of 'The Bhoys' abuse and intimidate a steward at Rugby Park because he politely asked them to clear a stairway.

Our support has its fair share of idiots, some of whom conflate passion with hooliganism. The Green Brigade gets bad press, but it tends to be the hangers-on who look for trouble, in my experience. A Stone Island patch is a dead giveaway.

There is no point sacking NL and brining in WGS it's crazy. He's an old school manager even more so than NL.

If NL goes we need to look to appoint someone that leaves nothing to chance.

From what I saw last night was anger from the fans, followed up by over the top aggressive actions by the police, fans chanting, police reacting by reaching for their battons and CS spray maybe they should be the ones in the limelight here for a complete over reaction that made a situation of a protest toxic by being excessively heavy handed.

Everyone needs to calm down. Just because he hasn't left yet doesn't mean he won't. The squad still need a training session. No doubt the board would have discussions together before acting on anything. As some have pointed out the board would want a plan to follow after Lennon's departure, i.e who are we targeting and will it a longterm or temporary replacement. These items will take time to discuss and decide. They might not even had the meet yet. They might let Lennon see out the training session before calling him up. I'll keep an open mind untill 6/7pm tonight. If nothing is done by then, I'll be genuinely concerned

500k to pay off Lennon then possible compo and a decent wage for a new guy. Lawell will be having heart palpitations.
