It was only a few months ago I was thinking how I’d have loved for my dad to still be around to see Celtic do what they couldnt quite do last time they got to 9...

Now... I’m glad he isn’t here to see the club make a monumental disaster out of probably their only ever chance to finally do it.

Tbf James- And by the way I’m not sticking up for Lennon but it’s blatantly obvious there is players there who obviously don’t want to be there but they’re no gonna just leave that day and break a contract of near oN 1M plus a year , until they’ve got another deal on the table- don’t think any Celtic fan still want s Lennon to be our manager, think a lot of people are saying that as much as he is to blame the players must take a massive part of the blame aswell, nearly every Celtic player in the starting 11 today is a proven internationalist and their going through the motions attitude by a lot of them today on that performance was disgusting, and if their happy picking up their 20k a week on that absolute shambles their a shower of imposters

Aye I get that but I'm fairly sure every club will have similar scenarios but there managers don't go public with it fanning the flames. I think it was fairly obvious he was speaking about Eddy Ntcham and Ajer (I could be wrong) who would pay top dollar when they know if they don't want to be here they can lowball us

Every ex-player, commentator, pundit etc has said that the players looked like they had given up today.

That makes you think there is something seriously wrong behind the scenes if that many players aren't giving there all.

I'm away to my bed as I am emotionally drained. Hopefully I wake up tomorrow and this has all been a Bobby Ewing Dallas moment. Hail Hail

No one will pay top dollar at this rate for Ajer and Ntcham anyway as they have been rotten. Edourd would still command a decent fee even with current form.

Tbh mate a know what you’re saying re Ajer Ntcham and Edouard but if not wanting to be there is based on performance s recently- then Laxalt would be the only player left in the dressing room

The revenue drop next season will be enormous anyway (new manager or not) if we don’t win the league.... probably minimal or no european money, STs down massively, kit sales (pi$$ off), merchandise .... all drastically hit.

I remember a home game at CP in RDs second season against st Johnstone ... I was the only seat being used in my row in the main stand... same in every row front and behind. 8000 there if lucky.. only the GB making any sort of atmosphere.

They could be facing worse figures than that if things go into a downward spiral.

That statement has Lawwell all over it. Trying to deflect the heat away from himself, the board and Lennon, and turn it swiftly on to the fans. Wouldn't be the first time he has flung the supporters under the bus.

If we get the right manager in now, the league is still winnable. It's still mathematically in our own hands, although they have to be favourites now.

If I had been interested in Edouard as a manager and I followed his progress over this season I wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole- we always slagged Morelos penchalent spoilt wee boy attitude when things weren’t going his way always culpable of seeing a red card- hate the wee * but actually wished Edouard was a wee bit more like that- a know his not his nature and he’s probably just naturally a laid back guy but if we hadn’t seen last 2 seasons how great a striker he can be and this was his first season and we’d paid 9 M for him he’d be up there with scheidt as one of the biggest waste of money signings

Dunno who the right manager is though who’s going to just come in and hit the ground running- cause let’s be honest, that’s really what he has to do

I honestly can't see this group of players winning every league game from now until the end of the season without some major investment. We are week in too many areas plus we would need a big name manager to attract the players we need.

Absolutey no point in keeping him on... he's not winning the league. I just don't see the logic at this stage of keeping him. It makes Absolutely no sense.

Also staggering the amount of support Lennon gets from alot of fans on social media... how any fan thinks keeping Lennon as manager is going to benefit the club in anyway.. seriously ..

I really fear this team will not even come 2nd unless Lennon goes. Any manager without investment should be able to get us that.

What else is there? It's the only hope. Whether they will do it or not, only time will tell. If they don't, then the 10 is gone.
