He thinks everything is fine though & so does the board. Why? Cause weve not been in the stands giving them dogs abuse. Neil Lennon deserves no respect, sitting there waiting to be paid off.

Recruitment has been abysmal it was the same under the snake your lucky if you get one good player in every 10 signings that is not the managers fault he has no say who we sign it’s all down to red coupon Lawwell. He runs the club like a dictator he is almighty if you * with him your out that’s why we won’t get anyone decent as that * has to much control over the club, so * off lawwell you have been there to long we need fresh ideas to get out of the * we are in.

He played with 2 recognised strikers Today v probably the worst Team in our league who were minus half a team yet Ross county hardly came out of second gear and had more shots on target than we did

granted we should’ve played a striker v ferencvaros, but everyone being saying “ play 1 striker play 2 striker s, bring in Rogic, drop Duffy, drop Barkas Etc etc, all of that has been tried and we’ve still been absolutely *

so it’s far deeper than just getting the starting 11 correct

Hear this line regarding transfer dealings and the likes, that we can't announce anything till we tell the stock exchange/shares or something.

Never too sure on the merits of it, plenty has been announced over the years outwith normal "business hours".

I wouldn’t listen to my manager if he kept blaming me for his own failures.

Name me one other manager in Scottish football, in any league, that couldn’t take Celtic to 2 wins in 10 games.

None. The players could have managed themselves for 3 months and achieved better results.

Lennon is toxic, and has a woeful effect on the team.

Won’t comment on if I agree or disagree with some people’s actions and feelings tonight up at park head. But one thing I will say is that we can blame lawwell all we want but at the end of the day he doesn’t put the words in Lennon’s mouth. Just this week he called the fan base “hysterical”
That’s just a complete slap in the face to the people who pay for tickets to pay his wages. He basically badmouthed the support and I can’t blame people for getting worked up and angry.

Mostly enjoy reading posts and don’t contribute too much myself but wanted to give my view.

Lennon had to go, been horrific lately and the players have downed tools, more annoyed at the players though, b scandalous that they will get away with it while Lennon takes all the flack.

said to all my mates at the time, he should never been offered the job but was happy to back and support him when he got it, as a Celtic fan though I really don’t agree with abuse directed towards him, it saddens me - the board fair enough.

really hope Lennon walks now l, been a great servant but not the man to win us the 10, long way to go and I believe with the right man and getting back to basics we can still win the league, just need to beat the huns 3 x and whilst organised there not world beaters, we’ve just made them look better than what they are

Eddie Howe or Marco Silva for me, time to make a statement

Once he is sacked, we will hear what’s going on in the dressing room.

It’s obvious that the players want him gone, and by losing is the only way, which is both infuriating and disgusting, but at the same time the only option for them.

Lennons comments about him having DD’s support was interesting and I kinda read that as a “You can feel how you want about me, but I won’t let players dictate who’s manager”

We would not be this bad even with Gazza as manager.

Still though, I have wanted him gone for a long time as I believe we could and should be managed by a professional manager with routine.

I agree - I gave him the benefit of the doubt - I thought he really believed he could turn it around (delusional I know) and that's why he was hanging around.

However, it is clear to everyone that it's over - that **** yesterday was the last straw. If he had come out and resigned (or even did a "mutual consent" deal with DD) - I would have retained some respect.

However, his comments after the game effectively said - I'm not going, if the board want to get rid of me, they'll have to sack me i.e. pay me off.

I thought he had more self-respect than that - difficult to respect him when he has served up **** football this season, blamed everyone but himself and stuck around to take the maximum money he can extract from the club.

this is the second time in a few hours you’ve came out with this. What’s your source? I’m sincerely hoping it’s not “some guy on Twitter” . I hope it’s true but there’s enough problems without just reiterating what some no mark hun * has said on Twitter.

I can’t believe a man with such a fantastic and rich legacy at the club would be willing to do such lasting damage to it just for a pay off. Greedy, self serving *.

Mikey put himself before the team and the team suffered being reduced to 10 as the subs had been used cauz he stayed on and injured himself even more ,yes it looked * to most but the manager has to have discipline in the team ,if players revolt to demands or questions of their attitude and workrate or commitment then they are not worthy of the jersey for me ,dont need that * at celtic .
