My anger isn't towards Lenny anymore, it's towards the Board for allowing this to continue.

We'll both sleep fine. You're far to clever to let anything on a forum affect you. And I'm exhausted from sparring unsuccessfully with such experience. I'll dream of easy ways to belittle our manager.

If 10IAR ment something to the board Neil Lennon wouldn't still be the manager now.

Also paying for a manger who could win is 10IAR is obviously to much of a cost for them to contemplate

Had a great laugh when McCoist pulled that * on the Huns, gouging them for every penny because he knew he would never get another job in management

Its heartbreaking that Lenny has decided to follow him down that road

If he doesn't resign tonight he should be sacked and escorted out of Celtic Park in the morning

"Love is blind " they say.
Neil Lennon is the manager of an absolute cluster * at the minute.
In any other walk of life , someone managing a mess like this - would be held to question.

It doesn’t need to be one or the other though.

There’s no doubt in my mind that he should walk, and there’s no doubt in my mind that the board should sack him if he doesn’t.

Hand in heart - he’s not going to walk because he knows this is his last big job, and last big salary.

The onus is on the Board to do the right thing, right now they are only delaying the inevitable, we all know that.

Going by the list of top odds.

Howe, Strachan, Clarke, Moyes, Michael O’Neill, Martin O’Neill, Jardim and Benitez are all better managers than Lennon. Maybe even Jack Ross. We aren’t talking about accolades or how they did the two times the Celtic job has landed on their lap, unearned. We are talking about pure managerial ability.

Then you’ve got John Kennedy, Larsson, Maloney, Mjallby, Lambert and Coleman who I’d not touch with a barge poll.

    That’s everyone within 20/1.

It would have been cheaper paying £2m for a high profile manager and giving him less to spend than hiring Lennon and giving him a small fortune and not selling our £10m+ players to get 10 in a row.

It was just a * appointment, there's no "they don't care about 10 in a row" bullshit about it.

Tonight’s result has not changed the situation for Neil Lennon, other than add more pressure to turn it round domestically. Celtic MUST go on a near-perfect run in Scotland until January 2 when they play Rangers at Ibrox. They have a favourable fixture list to do so.

Anything less - significant points dropped or a tangible failure (ie knocked out the League Cup/losing Scottish Cup final) - and the Celtic board will seriously have to consider Lennon’s position.

Isnt this the guy who put out the message the other day that the board were backing lenny? If this is the message the board are sending out again after tonight after yet another shitshow of a performance and result we are well and truly *

Agreed, but it doesn’t resolve Lennon of personal responsibility.

This is his club - where he’s built his legacy, where the fans hold him in high esteem - the onus is on the board to take action, but there’s a level of responsibility that falls squarely on Lennon’s shoulders.

In reality aye, same. I’d not mind Howe.

But, there are coaches out there I’ve never heard of that would probably do a better job then the lot of them. Problem is this isn’t a project season.
