I'm not watching his interviews anymore, don't really want to hear it now, but if he's said that it's worse than I thought. Does he think people are going to accept that?

    Becoming farcical.

That’s the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever heard a manager say and that’s no exaggeration.

"what would you say to the fans?"

    NL: "In terms of what?"

Honestly * right off. Immediately on the defensive and as @Padmill says, there's the contempt right there, I turned off after that. Guessing he took zero responsibility or accountability for our mess.

I retract my earlier post today. Scunnered. Again.

Could at least see where he was coming from if he admitted we've been below par almost all season and he's looking at ways to improve but he obviously has a lower standard than 90% of us when it comes to our performances.

Not surprised by this in the slightest, he already made comments weeks ago that were basically washing his hands of any blame/responsibility for our performances, like it was just up to the players to pull their socks up and get it done, as if it's not his responsibility as manager to be on top of things.

Remember Warburton coming out with something similar?

If draws were wins, Tommy Burns would've won the League in 1995/96.

We'll know in the next few weeks whether he was delusional or just a very determined man. I actually feel a bit better that they are not flapping like the fans.

The contempt him and his pals in the press show for fans in the media is contemptible, quite happy to come back for charity games and the like and take in adulation of the supporters only to turn around and stick the knife in when it pleases them, the sooner the * Lennon circus is over the better for Celtic.

This should have been played in the background to that interview -

Seriously though I admire stubborn, I am and I have no problem admitting that as its helped me massively in life/career etc. So I believe it's a very good character trait to have, both personally and professionally BUT like all character traits there comes a time when that same edge/advantage can become a serious flaw in a person's character and if they fail to recognise that ..
Sadly it's obvious that Lenny has yet to learn this part.

The thing is Lenny shouldn't even have been speaking, he should've been long gone, this is just dragging on the embarrassment.

Even the banner by the GB, i get the reason behind it but it just fuels the media circus.

It looks more like arrogance than self-belief at this point.

I'm just gutted about it all.

I didn't want him as manager.

I hate seeing club legends vs the fans.

I blame Desmond and the board for putting us in this situation with their arrogance and short-sightedness.

That banner was a total embarrassment. I'm no great fan of Lennon, but that was cringeworthy. Sorry, but that was my first thoughts on seeing it.

I would like to counter with, 'if the draws were defeats we would be in a worse position...'
Oh yeah that doesn't help him out does it!?

Really lost all respect for him now. He’s an arrogant disgrace of a man with no respect for the supporters.
