Every team drops points over the course of the season. Yes, it’s frustrating at times, but it’s inevitable.

The reality of our current situation is that if we win our two games in hand, we’re only three points behind. It’s hardly insurmountable, but we do need to improve.

 

Looked burst after an hour of that also.

 

First half.... Absolutely Brilliant attacking wise, that's what we should be doing every game, go out and blitz teams score early and scare the * out of them... wont always happen but should be our aim with the attacking players we have..Defence wise we were shakey and Frimpong was getting raped, Duffy a few scares

Second half... fairly comfortable and controlled the game well. Only gripe again was the subs. You could see just before 60 minutes we were tired and Aberdeen had a good spell. That's when we should be making changes especially with our squad and 5 subs allowed..dont give these diddies any room to breathe. Rogic should of been off earlier.. no need for him 2-0 up.. And why change the shape? Again No need...

All in all a good performance and a game we expected to win... improvement...

 

Some definite signs of improvement in the first half on Thursday and the first half today.

The 4231 is working much better for us right now.

 

It's important that we keep up the momentum and kick on from here. Neil now knows just how much we need Rogic in the team

 

We had played it for years, and the players are more familiar with it. That being said, due to a lack of cover in winger positions, I want to see a 4-3-1-2 in Scotland. Elyounoussi can be kept for Europe and bigger SPFL games.

 

Too slow making changes.

 

2 dropped against Aberdeen and 3 against Rangers... where’s the other points coming from?

because we beat St Johnstone 2-0 prior to that

 

Another positive display today particularly 1st half, glad he's finally playing Rogic * criminal that he wasn't involved prior. Makes his subs far far far far far too late, literally reacts to the game rather than giving the opposition no chance to get back into it.

Either way good result today hopefully we kick on now and go unbeaten for a while.

 

So after everything the manager has done and all his success you just simply replace him and gamble with some guy who's never even met the squad midway through a season pushing for 10 in a row??

The negativity from you people just isn't helping.

 

I guess he's not referring to consecutive games.

 

Aye he needs to be more proactive in his subs, being able to utilise 5 should benefit us the most with the most superior squad..

Maybe now we look to have a settled side and formation, that will come.

Wonder how much influence Kennedy has had with the return to 4-2-3-1 and its effectiveness. I know there wasn't much option as we're missing a few defenders but we look so much more effective.

My only worry is the huns have nullified that system pretty effectively too, think Lenny will need to come with something totally different for that game, maybe a diamond or something.

 

Ahh, so like Stein dropped 30 points in 10 games at one point kinda thing?

 

definitely not he’s not been fit, I’m happy with got a manager that’s allowed him the time out to get himself sorted. I feel we’ll reap the benefits of that this season.

 

dont see why he felt the need to change the shape late on,a lot of needless tinkering which he needs to stop ,all he needs to do now is play the same formation and personel

 

We never lost 10 games in a league campaign under Stein, and, at the risk of being pedantic, it would have been impossible for him to drop 30 points in 10 games.

If we had, how would that be in any way relevant to our current situation?

The three games in which we have dropped points this season are pertinent because they may affect the outcome of our league campaign.
