The next three or four games will see where we are and don't care if it's Lennon or someone else in charge but if they keep making the same mistakes and not learning from them then the spotlight and questions should be asked about the manager .
Too many on here because it's Lennon willing to turn a blind eye on the mistakes he's doing and each league game is played and not getting the 3 points the less chance of doing the ten .
We have lost 10 goals in 4 games and think that's unacceptable and when are we going to see a improvement in tactics and game plan and the next 4 games will tell us .

I’m arguing about the people that have a personal dislike of him mate. Not people with genuine criticism who can do it in a fair manner. Some people are just wanks.

Believe it or not I kind of agree with you. Im not saying I will definitely want Neil Lennon gone but it will certainly be a time to reassess and re-evaluate the situation.

For me, this season Neil Lennon is exactly the man we want in charge of Celtic. I dont know why but I kind of get the feeling you dont agree with me.

Don't worry, I was one of those people, and like many of us - we praised him to the hilt when he won last year and the football after him closing out the 8th season was night and day to the end of that season. Praise goes to Lennon, who I think everyone will agree is a club Legend spoken of in the same light as the Lions.

None of that excuses him for his woeful performances as a manager this season though. it wasn't just the hun game, its been 3 months of this.

I have yet to see any personal dislikes to the man from folk in this forum. Specially when discussing his status as manager this season.

Specifically why I’m talking about people I know, or * on facebook. Their will be a few on here but it tends to be more reserved except for doeballs in match threads

Thats fair enough and you're calling it the way you see it. I cant disagree that up until now this season has not been good enough but I believe he will turn it around and we will win 10 in a row. I could be wrong, there are no guarantees either way.

I don’t think this was necessarily his choice. He stepped in and took the job knowing he had won a watch having walked away before and been sacked at Hibs.

His bargaining position wasn’t exactly strong, more like this is what’s on offer. We do seem particularly light in the coaching department compared to most clubs of a similar stature and a bit dated as well where most jobs go to ex-players rather than necessarily the right candidate or someone that could bring in some fresh ideas.

History says otherwise. Which was kind of my point with "4 decades".

OK, so what you are saying is that 4 decades of actual history (showing that getting past these sides is very far from being a given) are totally irrelevant and that an idea in your head about what we should be entitled to expect is the relevant factor to consider.

That is a deeply flawed line of argument.

Hopefully this is our slump out of the way early. We will go on a long winning run which starts tomorrow.

That's absolutely poor show from them.
Lads one of us, trying his best. It may not be good enough for some of us, but the personal * is bang out!

Mate, by your logic of using decades ago history then we should all accept nothing less than winning the CL since we won that decades ago?

    History means * all.

When he took over from Rodgers it was all about continuity. But I thought he would've got one of his own guys on the coaching team for the new season

Venom in some threads was embarrassing.

Think I seen 3 different thread all of the same nature.

I'm liking this in agreement, but hate that folk are like that.

Very glad to see this isn't the case on here at least.
Guy may have his flaws as a manager this season and we can debate (heatedly mind you :56:) as much as we want on the merits on the lad being in the dugout or not, but I at least hope no one is falling out over it, or resorting to personal insults on Lennon or other fans for that matter.

That's a big part of the problem - Lennon wasn't in any sort of bargaining position. Some on here were saying **** like "Lenny will tell Lawwell that he won't take tolerate any interference", what a load of BS. Lennon knew then and knows now that he's very lucky to have this job and there isn't exactly a queue of clubs trying to poach him away. Lennon isn't going to have any sort of major disagreement with Lawwell because he's dependent on him for his job.
