That’s a good point, think we will have to play a deep line. No point in defence going upto the halfway line when in possession, would be caught out if we lost it and a ball came over the top.

Did you watch the game? He was directly involved in both their goals. The 1st by mis timing his jump and letting the ball fly over his head. The 2nd it deflects in off him all be it a bit unlucky but he's still involved. He's running around the pitch telling others to "switch on" and pointing to places when he can't even do the basics himself. He's having a * nightmare up here and it's a shame because there's a solid player in there somewhere. If true that he's playing with injections then it shows the state this club us in and how badly managed the medical side of things are at the club. Also not sure Brighton would be happy as after all its their asset.

I’d drop him for now, but he’s definitely a far better defender than he is showing.

I hope so mate, he's definitely the weak link at the moment and contributed to the poor recent results.

His confidence is shot to *, that’s playing a huge part in what we are seeing. Being a Celtic fan and actually playing for Celtic are a million miles apart.

Jersey is too big for him.

Too much hype but doesn't suit Celtic style.

A lot saying he played well
last night? It’s a bad sign when not making a Monumental * up constitutes “playing well”.

Maybe Lenny should read here more often before making his team selections!!

The type of defender you bring when 2-0 up and back to the wall in the last ten fifteen minutes.

But as others have said already, even with the cross for the corner on the first goal he was caught napping. Similar to the Milan first goal last week. And the third where he has to drop deep due to lack of pace, but his turning circle is also dodgy.

I know what your thinking, but most teams throw it into the box in the SPL. Not so much European teams. Im not a fan of Duffy, and having green blood in him is no reason why we should have gone anywhere near him. And thats been the case so far.

Spot on. Even if he improves I think most people can see he's still going to be below the standard and at the very least, hugely error prone.

Lennon needs to be ruthless this season. No passengers. Unfortunately if persisting with an empty shirt like Ntcham is anything to go by then I'm not sure Lenny is going to do what's required.

I just hope it doesn't cost us the big prize come the end of the season.

True indeed, he is a backs to the wall type defender.
Just hope we are now looking at bringing in a quality center half in the next transfer window.
