Thanks Jeannie I'll be getting big headed after all this praise :giggle1:
It's really thanks to you guys for all the encouragement you've gave me plus if I get something good I'm excited to show you it, I never see the type of wading bird's that you get Jeannie so seeing your pictures has been an education I would never have known what a redshank is for example it's a great wee gang in here:50:

It sure is. You get to see all the landlubbers :56:I used to see all the creatures that you see where I lived a few years ago. I loved seeing the wild deer and the occasional fox. I didn't have an interest in photography at the time so it was a missed opportunity. I haven't been out much of late because of work and the nights have gotten too dark to drive round after work. Things do catch my eye though. I have a wee lady I visit who lives right on the waterfront and I've seen a lovely big heron there every evening. Some people really do get a beautiful view here. I keep telling myself that I should have the camera in the car with me :56:A lot of your photos are really sensational and most of them have real merit for display :50:

I had a sighting in my back garden on Sunday. One that I've never seen in my garden before, a Coal *. It cheered me up after the scandalous display on Saturday. I thought it was a one=off sighting, but NO, I've seen it twice this morning already. Lovely wee bird. I've also seen the Great *, that's been really noisy for the last few days, in a tree in the garden. And I we have a Squirrel that keeps popping in. The wildlife has burst into life again in my garden.
We also have a cat who has taken a fancy to the Magpie nest in one of the trees. It has a collar, so it's someone's cat, but I'm getting worried that it'll find the nest, or any of the smaller birds we have in the garden, and do some damage.

At midday today 8 Cool Brent Geese flew close by along my Local Beach. I was throwing Ruby Roo’s Bally when they came into view and despite my best impression of Doc Holliday I could not draw my camera out in time:31::56:
Quite happy though, first of the year:84:
