lennon has sucked the confidence out of the team with his shitebag formation and player selection ,hes * scared to play attacking football and thats what we do.it was obvious since the day he came back that we had moved way beyond his level .nowhe looks to have lost the plot ,theres no way hes turning it around so what the * are we waiting for

The fact you define him as someone who get punted from other teams rather than the man who's delivered half of the 9 titles, says alot about your attitude toward him

I define him as someone who’s simply nowhere near the level of manager we should be appointing in 2020 when it comes to talking about him as a manager.

Do you know the poster? Had a lot of conversations with him/her? Discussed their knowledge of mental health issues have you? I suspect you are in no position to evaluate the posters knowledge or lack thereof on mental health issues.

We saw what can be achieved by appointing a top manager, albeit he turned out to be a total c**t, the Board failed to show ambition and took the easy/lazy option when they appointed Lenny full time.

We had the chance to build on what had already been achieved, but as usual we failed to capatilize on a position of strength.

@Valhalla - Come on even you must admit you're actively picking and choosing certain facts that fit in with your argument against Neil Lennon. You're against Neil Lennon being Celtic manager which is your opinion but theres no doubt you're skewing the facts to suit yourself. Anyway instead of banging on about how Neil Lennon is the source of all our woe's, can you offer a solution? Im not sure if you have already posted it but do you have a manager in mind who the board can realistically go for?

Many reasons for not showing your true feelings mostly the first 1 is never the right one , the media would love to portray lenny as lost the plot and going mental on the touch line or dugout "see he has not changed " " its still the same guy who brings it on himself " truth is he can't win and can only keep the doubters at bay by winning but they will be ready to come out again gaining strength from any failures he has .
We all want wots best for celtic no one more than lennon , it can't be easy feeling the hatred from most of the country u live in and feeling the ones who should be in your corner turn and walk at the first sign of a fight .
Taking over from a manager who had the support and players eating out of his hand , working with assistants who may not have your back in the trenches , who can you turn to or trust fully if they are not your choice of support , wot if players and assistants are going against your methods of motivation and your hands are tied from above , these are all just guessing at wot it could be like , but sometimes you need to know you have support , and as fans we are not showing much of it while not losing any domestic trophy for 4 years as we speak . HH .

The one thing our board do well, really well, really really well, is fail to capitalize on a position of strength.. time and time again

Isn’t the whole point of arguing your point posting facts that support it? Just like the people who want him and think he’s the best we can get will pick and choose ‘certain facts’ to support their argument?

Mate me and several others have posted countless times about realistic options but anytime a name comes up there’s always an excuse.

Lawwell and this board have utterly demolished any bit of ambition from our support.

Off the top of my head there’s Rangnick, Marcelino, Bordalas, Benitez.

There’s absolutely countless options out there.

Oh, oh, oh! Can I pre-empt his response? X is rubbish, and y is unrealistic.

    How did I do, @moravcik1888?

Other arguments aside, it's pretty ignorant to assume that there isn't a single available manager in world football capable of taking the Celtic job. Unless we're as bad at scouting coaches as we are players, which is a genuine possibility given how * the club currently appears to be in its setup.

Eddie Howe would be a top class option. He’d need the same type of blank cheque Rodgers got but he’s potentially a similar calibre manager for me.

Lenny has undoubtedly given us a lot as manager and I will always be grateful. He’s just not the right man at this time I’m afraid.

    Yep.

Everyone who isn’t a ‘Celtic man’ is apparently unattainable, unrealistic, too much of a risk, wouldn’t get Scottish football etc.

Pointless people even asking a stupid question like that when they’re just going to shout it down anyway.
