This whole...................aye but the huns might bottle it again way of thinking just shows the state we are in right now, our best hope of winning the League is the huns shittin themselves, it's pathetic.

    Mental that they’re a * team with a * manager, and we’re a great team with a great manager.

Can't disagree with any of that. Something drastic has change and now. If we drop any points in next 4 or 5 league games, it's curtains for him imo, cos the Huns will defo go on a run now. That would have given them a good confidence boost.

Thats the worry here, exactly this.

Stop for one moment and look at the league table and look at our performances the past 2 months.
We are behind the huns! Game in hand or not, we literally need them to slip up now. We show no signs of improvement or able to change it. Past 3 meetings with the huns have been honking and the next 3 there is no indication it will be any different.
Literally we need others to do us a favour at this stage. Yet some are still blindly clapping along and pretending the house is not on fire. WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING.
Either get a new manager in, or someone please go boot Lennon in the balls and tell him he is * this up and to sort his * out.

listen to you being all philosophically allegorically optimistic!!!! :50:

Problem is... our tortoise is a stubborn one and not listening.

We used to joke about Hun managers having no ‘Plan B’....

    Lennon has no ‘Plan A‘.

The anomaly of this season is we can secure last seasons Scottish Cup this season, thus securing a quadruple treble that could prove a nice little boost.

You can't discount the previous/current success when comparing the zero success Gerrard has had with the Huns..

Disgusting. People on here, regular posters too, gave people it stinking when Lenny and some of his deficiencies were questioned last year and even this year.
Adamant we will stroll the 10, based on argument the huns will bottle it.
We need to win the league, not hope they lose it, and right now we're depending on other teams taking points off them cos under Lenny we certainly won't !

The last 4/5 games against them they've been the better team.

For a supposed great motivator, if he can't get players up for those games he shouldn't be here.

The biggest threat to 10 is Lennon. He won't be sacked but this all comes down to how we bounce back. If we continue sputtering like we have and don't find form I am very fearful for the rest of the season

IF he’s got to go it’s got to be sooner than that for me.. we could very well win that cup semi and go on to finish another treble... a decent achievement.. but still last season...

it’s now that matters and I don’t want success in the SC to give a ‘pass’ to the current league failings.

    I'm seeing a lot of poster's saying

We don't play to Duffy's strengths
We don't play to Mo's strengths
We don't play to Ntcham's strengths
We don't play to Taylor’s strengths
We don't play to Eddy's strengths

You could add more to that but it's pretty telling..

His stubbornness is going to cost us the league . He is doing everything he can to prove his system work which it doesn’t and it clear to see that he has lost the dressing room . We have scrapped numerous victories this season yet according to Lennon the performances have been excellent .
Ntcham or brown should of been dropped

I was very harsh on Griffiths for coming back out of shape - justifiably so imo. I said at the time that the idea that he would miss just a game or two was unrealistic, but we’re a couple of months into the season now.

Ultimately, if he’s still deemed unfit now then question need to be asked about our trekking methods.

You can't call that , the move worked , he kept the team going and he knew the ins and outs of the position , he then proved the choice correct last year and now rangers are getting more right than wrong , they are getting better and play well against teams who come at them .
Its about us dropping deep wen they have the ball , but some of our players are not doing that and fans don't want to see this either .

And Lennon is trying to deflect attention on this result by blaming Covid and a leaked team selection . Ffs deal with that behind closed doors

Exactly what I've been thinking. I remember in an interview he was asked about needing to be patient and he said he didn't like using the word patience in football cos it can mean playing the ball around aimlessly and I agree with that - I would rather have my team impatient to win the ball back and to create chances and to score goals. But he's totally changed to a cautious, pedestrian, safety first style of football that isn't working. It's as though he's lot his nerve and baffles himself with tactics instead of keeping it simple.

Have played and watched football for the majority of my life and even still after results like yesterday I struggle with deciding where the main chunk of the blame should be directed - manager, coaching staff, players etc

The buck stops with the manager I suppose, which is fair enough and at the moment he’s not managing to get us playing well at all. But the likes of Ntcham, Frimpong, Duffy, McGregor and Elyounoussi have seriously got to be taking long, hard looks at themselves because they’re all capable of so much better than what they produced yesterday.

Yesterday also just cemented my belief that we are only a fraction of the team without an in form Edouard and Christie in the team. All of our best football last season was when they were at it. Need to get them firing again when they’re back.

The weird and annoying thing is though, we left Griffiths out of the France tour, for a week.
A week after Lennon dropped him from that squad he came out and praised him for being back in shape - within a week.

I believe the reason he was dropped from that tour, sure, but then why a week later in July tell us he is back in shape again, yet nearly 3 months later he still cant be brought on when he is needed?
    Connell, not fit.
    Turnbull, not fit.
    Klimala, not fit.
    Ajeti, not fit.
Julien, not fit (okay maybe actually still injured?).

These are all his players, players he signed and requested. The * is he bringing these guys in for, if he doesnt want to play them or give them a chance?

Questions need asked on Lennon and the coaching/fitness staff, either one of them is really * at their job(fitness staff who are meant to get them fit), or the other one is really * at their job(the manager who needs to give these guys game time to get them match fit).
