I don't think one defeat from 10 is ununacceptable orry.

I completely get your disappointment at * we witnessed today, I'm disappointed too but we don't need to panic yet.

And if Griffiths plays people doubt him over his match fitness, Ajeti was injured and out of the squad for our last 2 league matches, Rogic not kicked a ball in months. Any team Lennon plays people will use it against him. I questioned his lineups against Ferencvaros, Kilmarnock and Riga but today he had very little options.

Bearing in mind we won the league cup, league title and were in the semis of the Scottish cup in the last 18 months then I wouldn't be changing too much from a winning formula no. Are we better than last season? Probably no, brown is aging, Taylor has been underwhelming, and the goalkeeper isn't as good as Forster but we are still very much in contention in the league and getting results while playing badly (bar today).

People are going OTT with the loss today is my standpoint.

Sorry mate, I don`t agree with you on this. Ability without drive, you can still win. No amount of drive without ability, and your odds of success is greatly diminished. Total managerial dysfunction today.

So three of our most productive players in terms of goals and assists being out makes no difference against our closest challengers in the country? That's crazy.

Our midfield lacked legs which Christie offers. Our forwards weren't potent which Edouard is. Frimpong as much as I live him wasnt up for this game - not saying Forrest would have been but it at least gives Lennon options (4-2-3-1, sub etc).

We lost a game that they would have been raging if they lost. It was as good a chance they've had to beat is they've had in years and they took the chance with both hands. It's not that much of a shock imo.

Well not only the team selection but the performance. Its the performance people have an issue with.

So to clarify, that even with the squad that played, you dont have any concerns or worries that we did not manage a shot on target today?

Taylor is a scapegoat whether people want to accept that or not. You could name plenty names of those who have not been good enough so far this season.
Dont even want to hear about Taylor rn. The problems start way before Taylor.

Think it more the performance than the result mate.

Of course I have a problem with it. But 11 players on a pitch playing for Celtic should have enough dig, fight and ability to muster a shot against a goalkeeper. You and other may blame Lennon for that and while the manager always takes flak for performances the players need to stand up and prove they're good enough to justify their selection.

You literally just said he left players out so why change your stance to say it was just the performance not the selection?

I'm not calling Taylor a disaster I'm saying that his omission was justified given his poor defensive displays and inability to beat a man in every game so far this season. The Huns would've targeted him as a weak link and rightly so.

Theyre defence is better than ours. I’m not sure how that can even be in doubt.

Kent would get into our first XI too. Look at the question from another angle - based in today’s showing, how many of ours would get into their team?

weve not got behind teams regularly all season our wing play and wing back play isnt working the players keep turning back instead of getting to the byline and cutting it back we are also not gettin through teams down the middle

and we are not effectively pressing teams therfore winning the ball back so after getting up the park we pass back and to the sides slowly and are afraid to make a cutting forward pass i.e. the players dont feel they have the ability or confidence to make that cutting pass, we then force it lose it and have to run all the way back to our 18 yard box,

its a self perputuating cycle that keeps happening game after game and its because we cant break teams down and we dont want to take our chances by pushing up and playing an all out press

we could lose the league as it stands because we dont change a manager that isnt able to fix our lack of chance creation

I blame all, from the board down to the players. I feel that we have let our standards slip.

I have issues with both the team selection and the performances. You made out initially as if the problem was only with selection.

Im unsure what you are trying to argue now, you agree that today wasnt good enough and you also concede that Rangers are capable of playing better.

can you tell me an occasion where Taylor has made a mistake that has led directly to a goal? His limitations are going forward, he is steady enough defensively.

The problem this season is the random and different team selections every week. Our team has no time to gel and get some chemistry. NL for whateber reason has picked the wrong season to start experimenting.

No you said: That team was deemed strong enough by Lennon to leave Griffiths, Rogic, Ajeti on the bench.

I took from that you had problem with the selection hence why I said what I said. My problem is with people going overboard with their reaction to the result when we were poor and had a threadbare squad to choose from.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
It was a .hit performance today,we must get over of it fast and regroup and by the time we play them at the Piggery reverse the result. One loss or win does not make a season.Let us bounce back on Thursday against Milan then kick Aberdeen's * big time on Sunday and go on from there!:ynwacelti

we started playing 352 last season

the changing of the personel is down to neil trying to fix our peformances

he hinted at players wanting to leave if thats the case, that created disharmony and disunity in the squad, if our best players wanted out then maybe we should have sold them
as it looks like it has damaged team spirit and morale

it looks like the players arent to fond of neils coaching or temperment is he the type to through * around in the dressing room of * them, i dont think that goes down to well these days with footballers and hibs got rid of 2 managers for that him and john collins, has he lost the dressing room and because theres no fans in the stadiums the players arent feeling the need to perform at their very best ?
