They built their tactics on the way we hav been playing pushing high and pinning teams in , they congested midfield and pressed the life out the game wae us and it got them some joy , if we congest our own half and invite them into a wall then we have space to play wen they lose the ball , its not the celtic way but the result means more and along with vital players out for us we do wot gets the result .

 

I don't think I've ever, EVER, seen such a negative build up regarding this fixture and our "chances".

I don't think there's has been a single media piece that has given us anything other than a wish and a dream of winning this game.

Yes our firm hasn't been consistent, but everyone knows this fixture is about who turns up.

Unfortunately, too many of our support are buying into this narrative that, as Craigan put it today, Sevco "are in the ascendency", whilst we are getting lucky. And it's utter * NONSENSE.

We have a stronger squad, better in every position, with the exception of left back, and we haven't seen what Lax is capable of yet. They, arguably have 4 players who can do damage to us.

We have a better, more experienced manager who knows this fixture like the viens on his own *. They have a trophy less rookie who even as a "world class player" never smelt a league title never mind held one.

We have trophy laden captain with a will of iron. They have a serial loser defender who can't defend.

We have been denied penalties and teams have been allowed to foul us with impunity. They have been getting gifted every break of the ball, free kick and dodgy penalties the masons can throw at them.

I fully EXPECT us to win this. Its not doomsday if we don't, which proves who is the stronger, if they lose it will be a meltdown of apocalyptic proportions. The game they NEEDED to win. We can lose it, dust it off and still overtake them by January... Again.

Anything can happen in this fixture and let's not forget theyre playing with that 12th Man in the middle. But anyone NOT expecting us to win this needs to give themselves a shake.

 

Agree its all about the mutants and how they are going to beat us fk them lets rip the * apart .

 

We are definitely due a performance against these *. They battered us at Hampden but we manged to hold on for the win, then they can to Parkhead and got the win. This cannot happen again.

We need a big performance from all our Bhoys tomorrow.

No been this nervous for a game in a long time

 

Certainly feel nervous about this one, but I always feel nervous about these games, so no different really. The thing we should remember is that the pressure is all on them. If we lose, we stiill have a game in hand and basically are still only one ooint behind. With our squad I would certainly rather be in our position.
Also, we have already achieved a second nine in a row. The pressure is huge on them to stop the ten, hence this season is crucial to their very future, I feel.
A loss for us tomorrow is a temporary set back but a loss for them will see panic and undoubtedly starting to turn on slippy. He has, in effect, delivered * all on a huge budget ( by scottish standards), in two years.
It won't take much for the natives to turn on him.
So it's al good in the Harry Hood!! ( sorry about that)
