I don't know if it's just me but it seems more and more folk seem to be taking time to look at what's above, below and around us right now. It's like folk now have the time to stop and appreciate what's around us and what's happening in the natural world. I don't know if that's a great thing or it's a little ominous. We have gone so far down the road of self destruction on this planet ......can we really be about to turn things around just by paying attention? Or are we soaking up the moments before they're lost to us? No doubt about it taking notice the natural world is good for our mental health.

Very well put Jeannie. And of course we do not have to spend a fortune to massage out mental health. Walking locally is really good, especially at Dawn or dusk or any spare time we have.
Even a wee garden can attract cool Wildlife. Yes enjoying the Natural world and making the most of the nearest countryside or Parks.
I call some people The Valley Avoiders. These people are lucky enough to live in fantastic Countryside but never bother walking in it but think nothing of flying thousands of miles to sit behind Glass and eat Luxury Big meals or go to MacDonalds and throw the waste out of their cars onto the country lanes.
But the good news is yes during these testing times it really does appear that more people are respecting the Natural World than before. So there is actually some hope.
    Roll on Autumn Watch:50:

Check out BBC Scotland’s Inside The Zoo on BBC I Player. It is a superb Fly On The Walk Documentary At Edinburgh Zoo and the Highland Wildlife Park.
The Sun Bears in episode one alone make it worth watching. :49:
