3 years down the line and we're still waiting for him to come good. 3 years down the line and we still don't know where he would be best utilised in midfield. He has put in far more poor/ anonymous performances than good. When he has made any significant contributions its been when the team has played well as a whole

A charlatan and, personally , i wouldn't bat an eyelid if he were let go for 0.

If a waster is a guy with all the talent in the world who will never realise a fraction of his potential, then what a waster.
It doesn't even make sense from the point of view of wanting to play in a bigger league. If he'd just knuckled down he'd have got a really good move for all parties by now.
    Baffling.

Maybe time to give up and cash in.

If losing him tomorrow means we could spend decent money on a left wing back, I’m available to give him a lift to the airport.

He has had enough chances, never dominates games, even yesterday his body language looks off, watching him walk on and off the pitch. Defiantly time to cash in, and its a position we are well stocked,

If we sold him today it would be the best business of the window if the cash was reinvested.

I say this as someone who thinks he is our most talented midfielder and I thought could have been the spark this year.

Attitude V talent? Attitude wins every time for me and his is stinking.

Technically him and Rogic are the best midfielders we have. No doubt about it.
But he just does not bring his A game remotely enough.
Would love him to stay and find that form, but he's been here 3 years now and hasn't managed to stake a long term claim in the starting 11 in the way we talk about McGregor or even Christie. Even Turnbull is talked about by the fans as wanting to see more of before him these days.

I reckon we could get 8-12 million for him and would happily take it. if he covers the bulk of our already spent money, then so be it, it won't be a big loss in the playing squad.

His body language is neither here nor there.

When he's in good form - looks disinterested.
When he's in poor form - looks disinterested.

He has similar on field mannerisms to Eddie, and I've noticed this with other French-African players - maybe just a cultural thing?

But enough of my * kinesics - he's been * far more often than he's been good (far less excellent).

I wouldn't be too upset if he moved on.

For me it feels like the right time for him to go. He wouldn’t be a massive loss given how in and out the team he is and the level of performance he put in yesterday didn’t make me think we have to keep him.

The fact that at the start of last year he came out talking about wanting a move as he felt he was held back in Scotland, would have been all well and good if he had been playing at Moussa, Tierney, VVD or Eddy type levels consistently where he looks a cut above but at least half of the time he doesn’t look anything special.

He gave the ball away constantly yesterday, doesn’t have a clue positionally and far too often puts in substandard performances.

I can respect that. But not people basically changing week by week or waiting for him to have a bad game to then go for the guy.

Really? McGregor is better than him in almost every department - ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting, tactical awareness - and certainly far more effective.
