I will wait until tomorrow night before I make a decision on a team/formation.

I am unsure yet if we should go with 3 or 4 at the back but I would like to see two up top to keep their defence on their toes. Edouard just has to play for me. I know he has been nowhere near his best recently but having him on the pitch will put fear into them and he is a big game player. Hopefully an inform Edouard with one off Ajeti/Griff/Klimala making it difficult for their defence with runs in behind and good movement will cause them problems. Edouard likes to drop deep and drift wide but I think we need another striker up there who will just stay up there and be a pest.

Edouard and Elyounoussi are too similar to be playing up front together imo.

Stop their full backs getting forward and getting crosses in and win the battle in midfield.

Jullien takes a while to get going as well..

Can't afford to be rusty against this mob..

Same back 3 as today...unless we sign a monster of a centre half tomorrow..

Any other season this game would be important, in a 10IAR season it's a biggen but a 10IAR season with the way the world is today, this game is * MASSIVE!!! The huns wheels won't be falling off like they did last season, I strongly believe this. Gerard will have them well fired up for this. It's easy to right them off because of past seasons, however this season, plus with the plandemic, we need to get these 3 points more than ever because soon as winter kicks in and with them numbers rising, the season could well be called again and we don't want them sitting top. To lose 10IAR is such a manner would be unthinkable!

But for now we'll put that above aside. This game will be strange without any fans and whoever wants it the most will come out on top. The way weve been playing in recent weeks, I'd drop eddy to the bench and put Griff and killmala up front to shake things up. It'll be a brave decision but one I don't think Lenny would have the balls to make. Eddie's recent form could * this for us. We can't be carrying him in such an important game. Throw him on in the latter stages of the second and hopefully he'll come out stubborn and wanting to show Lenny why he was wrong to drop him. All ifs and butts as is always with these games but all I know, I'll be sticking an aul 2 euro as I always do on 7-1 for these games and hoping for that. But realistically I think there's definitely going to be goals in it, maybe 3-3 or 3-2 to us. Definitely another sending off though hopefully it's one of them * and not us! They'll definitely be targeting browny knowing he's a cert for a yellow or two since he's lost something this season. Anyway, * it come the end of the game I just hope we're all smiling on here and not all having a go at the team for another * preformance!

    Hail Hail9

This will be difficult lets not hide from the fact they are better this year , they will be flying at us in a similar way to cup final , i would allow them to push us back a little , and counter them like eddy's through ball to mikey johnston , elhamed has to play to allow frimpong to run into spaces .

    Just seen their highlights there..

Ross County opened them up a fair bit but lacked quality..

One thing I've just taken from that is how weak they look from set pieces..

Fancy us majorly to score from 1 or 2..

Will be very jnteresting to see how he performs for the French in next couple of games. Will get a good idea if his head just hasn't been in right place during transfer window....

Eddy and ajeti to start and Griffiths & Klimala to finish up

That way we see how ajeti and Klimala fair up against them regardless of the scoreline and define what they are capable of at that level.

Lenny will probably start 1 up front, like Europe tho, but we play so slow and boring lately with this formation.

To anyone who has watched them, how good are/aren't they? That Galatasaray result suggests they're pretty decent.

They are set up perfectly to soak pressure and sucker punch teams, it’s why they have an ever growing list of good results against decent teams in the Europa.

We have to be wary of them on the break and make sure we have enough cover when going up for corners and set pieces.

Galatasaray and even Willem II had loads of pressure, possession and chances but the results make it look like complete domination - which neither game was.

    Barkas
    Julian Duffy Ajer
    Frimpong brown MacGregor Taylor
    Christie
    Edouard Ajeti(/Elyounossi)

That's the team who I think he will play, he said in an interview he changed it too much today and won't make as many changes.

Hopefully a new LWB (Laxalt if reports are true) is deemed fit to be thrown straight in, but I doubt it.

I’d start Edouard and Ajeti, but if Ajeti isn’t fit I’d probably actually go with Klimala and Moi. The reason for that is that I don’t think Edouard and Moi really work as a two (mainly because they want to operate in the same spaces and don’t stretch defences in behind). Griff or Klimala’s pace and directness off the bench could have a huge impact.

Hopefully no international injuries (for us anyway). They have Barisic injured, Morelos playing in Chile on the Wednesday,
Itten being called out on international with a steroid injection in his leg.
Our biggest problem is if McGregor, Christie, Ajer and Moi plays all 3 Scotland and Norway games. I get the feeling they may well do.
With Scotland playing 3 games I'm surprised the match wasn't moved to Sunday.

problem with playing 3 center backs is that decent teams just ping the ball into the holes left by your full backs

i think id just go with a back 4

    442

    elhamed duffy ajer taylor

    frimpong brown mcgregor christie

    ajeti or klimala and edouard

griff mo forrest ntcham turnbull to get on 2nd half
