Aye, I don't have a problem with managers saving their criticism for behind the scenes but as long as there's a reaction then in subsequent games.

I don't see how anyone can be content with that. That wasn't a team unified and hungry to make up for the Ferencvaros loss, that wasn't a team that pressed effectively as a unit, it wasn't a team who showed a clear style of play.

Nobody bar Frimpong deserves praise for what we just witnessed. He can hold his head high for his efforts, his enthusiasm, his positivity. Beyond that it was a squad that looks disinterested and rudderless.

 

So many uninspiring sideways and backwards passes, in every game now. Like we don't have a clue what to do in the final third.

I agree but I have to have faith he's telling them they were * and he knows it no one can say we played well in that game I was fighting sleep by half time it was boring and slow need to sign a midfielder and get Christie brown n Forrest to *

Listen, i wanted him and up till very recently have stood by him but clearly for me there is something no right there with the talent we've got and what we're producing. He came in and has done a brilliant job and i'm glad he was there for us but the Ferencvaros selection just about did for me!! I would have probably reverted and backed off if we'd showed signs of turning the corner but if anything it's got worse and more worrying since that game!!

Losing Duff was a huge worry for me... especially the way the players raved about him.

Apparently he was brilliant at spending 1-1 time with wingers and helping them improve their game. It’s no surprise that he’s gone and our creative spark is lacking

 

If he's doing that behind the scenes but not changing the personnel or tactics to have us playing more effectively then he's part of the problem.

I phoned my Granda after the game who has been watching Celtic since during World War 2 when it was regional Leagues and all he said was "I'm not getting any joy out of watching us right now"

I think that's as scathing an assessment as any.

If lenny does not change his ways its going to cost usat some point,seems the team can play as * as they like and some will not get dropped. I said half way through the game lenny would say we played well just because we had lots of the ball.Can't wait to see \0/ try and play another 90mins on sunday and taylor with his anywhere but forward passing.Eddy looks * off and no wonder,every single game its....here eddy have the ball while surrounded by 2,3 or 4 players. Our attack is so lacking on the left its pointless.
