1 step forward and 3 back it seems, dreadful performances of late being saved by facing woeful opposition & having better players, we have no build up structure, no pressing structure, * on transitions, players seem * absolutely lost, simply not good enough.

 

Baffling selection and subs.

 

I'm tired Neil.

 

He has lost the plot, the fact Brown played 90s mins while easily being our worst player again is telling of the manager. Brown is dire and we are in a one off game in Europe needing a goal and he he remains... Frimpong sub was a blessing in disguise he put in a shift and tried.

 

Worrying signs despite the win, I have to admit. I take no pleasure in saying that either.

 

Holds on to his job a little longer in my opinion.

I was not for him getting the job perm, but I think last season he done us all proud and was a fantastic turn at the new year - all credit where it is due.
Brilliant that he started the 9 and completed the 9, the romantic side of me wants to see him get the 10.

But let's be honest, this happened in his first stint as well and over the course of this tenure, it's generally been absolute dire minus the 3 months after new year.

He is the wrong man to take us forward, but I fear he will hold on to the job for fear that any change will cost us, financially and the 10.
I just actually fear Lennon in charge will be a bigger risk as well.

He sticks to his favourites - as he did last time - and can't make a sub to save himself (well technically he did tonight, but they all should have started).

Not for the first time has his formations and tactics been massively questioned, this season or further back.

I fail to see how anyone can honestly say they are confident or happy to see this continue and not question his ability at this stage. I do not question his passion, his love, or his desire to succeed here, but he just is not the man to take us forward.

Frimpong should be starting over Forrest every week.

Turnbull should be in for Brown with McGregor moving back one.

Ajeti in for Christie.

Moi for Ntcham.


He does that and finds a settled back 3 and we’ve got a chance of being a half decent team.

 

OK - we have gone through. But as I've mentioned earlier this is still papering over the cracks with our performance(s). Something is lacking currently. Neil you owe Frimpong a bonus for getting you out of a hole tonight.

 

We keep winning, he will still be in the job. I don't want to see us lose, ever. I also don't want Lennon in the dugout anymore. I didn't want him back in the first place. He is massively out of his depth.

For me it is the past weeks comments regarding Brown not being able to play every game - it's just soundbites to please the fans at this stage. He clearly does not believe what he is saying, as he persists and persists, a guy clearly struggled tonight and was walking a tight rope for a red card, the game passed him by from kick off, he got booked early, took a bad knock at one stage - yet not once did he contemplate subbing him, madness.

 

Ive never criticised Lennon before, we have a lot to thank him for, but he's either bereft of tactical ideas or he,s on an Ego trip in regard to who he selects for the team. It really is time for him to go

 

Do we really need 3 centre backs in a game like that?

Would like to see Ely & Ajeti in for Ntcham & Christie for the next game.

 

Needs to get a grip of himself and just play the Celtic way.

 

The rate of regression over the last few months is staggering.

 

Winning in spite of him at the moment, proved a lot of people wrong last season but his management so far this season has been *, we look like a terribly coached football team who practice * all during the week.
