Forget what player it was on open goal but they were from the Celtic team that stopped rangers doing the 10. Said the reason Jansen was a success that season was because he wasn’t fazed by all the pressure to stop the 10 and it radiated towards the rest of the team. Lennon is a Celtic man through and through and understands what this season means more than anyone - think we’re already seeing him crack under the pressure. With all the talk of ins and outs, the next few weeks I think could make or break the season.

From the little I’ve seen his distribution and handling look really good tbh.

Don’t think he could have done much to stop the first last night, the second he could have done better though imo.

Too early to say whether he’ll be a success or not.

I think it has to be said we wanted Forster but we opted for the cheaper option, Forster saves the first and second.

To me it sounds like he's had another falling out with Lawwell, similar to when he left the first time.

Assuming it's over transfers, it's probably to do with the Duffy deal, or the lack of a new centre half. Maybe Lawwell is wanting to get some concrete bids in for Ajer before he splashes on a CB, and Lenny is raging at being forced to play someone who doesn't want to be here just to put him in the shop window.

Obviously I've just pulled this all out my *, but the way this has became such a big deal all of a sudden makes me think about what's happened recently that could have caused it.

FF knocked us back, nothing to do with us being cheap this time.

Fair enough I thought he knocked us back for another loan move because he wanted to see if Southampton wanted to keep him, then couple weeks later news broke that he was not needed, 2 days later Celtic sign barkas

It’s reported that Celtic agreed a permanent deal and FF knocked it back.

Not sure about that, it was a very good hit right in the corner.

I agree that he’d have saved the 2nd.

I’m sure it was Larsson on that Sky Sports interview.

    Maybe Lambert mentioned it too.

It was to the far side, but it was not right in the corner a keeper that length should atleast get a hand to that which would suggest he got his positioning just off or he ain't as agile as say Forster is.

Barkas on another day saves the 2nd.

No guarantee either keeper or any keeper saves it.

Think you have something their but it’s more at the top of the park he’s been told to keep edouard out the team In case of injury and scuppering a deal because of this he chooses to play no striker at all as a protest because he doesn’t want his top striker sold from under him we have seen managers do this before Rodgers did. When he was here for instance

I've no faith either. But at some point it needs to change. For example if we get Duffy in he needs to go right into the team, as does Turnbull.

The more I think about last night, the angrier I get.

A team on the ropes, and all we need is a natural striker, who would automatically find the space in the box for the continual chances we had, yet Lennon didn't see it until we were behind.

Tactically *, and I'd be happy to see a vastly experienced assistant in beside him, otherwise I'd be happy to replace him.

As I said earlier, I don't think he has any class after poor results, and tends to blame everyone but himself (he briefly brushed the team selection aside). He's did it his entire managerial career, at other clubs too.

He will lose the dressing room here, if he hasn't already, and for me, it looks like some players are not giving the same for him as they did Rodgers.

Think you might have nailed it with the last part, it's Brendan's team the majority of it, Lenny should have stamped his mark down with his own players.
