Seems we are in turmoil, attempted to shift the blame onto the players when last nights diabolical result lies at the feet of Neil Lennon.

Never should have been given the job in the first place, papped by mediocre sides constantly when trying for the champions league, he is a diehard fan there is no doubt but so am i and the managers job should go to the best candidate on merit not how much he loves the club.

lennon was the obvious option when we were left in the * by rodgers he came in and seen us over the line and then won the league last year

but hes isnt good enough tactically by a million miles, hes just not good enough to be our manager if we want to improve

everything was in our favour for a champions league qualifier last night 1 leg, at home, no away goals, better players and fitter and our manager doesnt play a striker WTAF :43:

is that the first time weve never played a striker in a game ?

i dont think well sack him cause its 10 in a row season, but in normal circumstances we should

When asked the question "has there been specific players ask to leave?" He didn't even pause before giving and definitive "Yes."

His entire attitude surrounding the squad changed after the game last night.

Something is definitely not right behind the scenes here.

he's lost the plot after those post match comments, i dunno how any they players would want to play for him now, to try and move all the blame onto them when it was his * tactics last night, the man is cracking.

Im also * sick of 10n a row.. nothing can change or be done till we get it it seems. Club has seriously stalled in the last few seasons but it's ok 10 in a row? If this is the height of our ambition we are *

The problem with Lennon is not only that he didn't learn from the Cluj and Copenhagen games but also that he didn't react when it was obvious for everyone that the way we played yesterday didn't work. A manager needs to be able to do changes while the game is on. He has multiple time lacked that skill. He had more than enough chances to show he improved his management skills. If a player doesn't improve he will get called out why shouldn't we messure the same way with our coaching stuff? At a club like ours you can't be a lazy manager or things like last night happen. It's not that he made mistakes that wants me him to move on but his lack of learning from them. Will always be a Celtic legend and I like him but he's just doesn't possesses the managment skills needed if we want to improve.

Just read on Twitter that players having been hiring their own coaches as the training isn’t up to standard? It wouldn’t be surprising.

We knew Ajer has changed agent and not signed a new deal, Ntcham was making noises about getting a move last season, and unless he signs an extension I'm assuming Eddy has been waiting to see what offers we get for him this window, so I'm not shocked in the slightest that there are players looking to move on after being here a few years, but the way Lenny's mentioned it makes it seem like there's a bigger issue than there really ought to be, a bit odd. Unless there's other key players unhappy and agitating for a move that we're not aware of, ones we'd assume are in it for the long haul or at least for 10, like calmac or someone.

Who the * knows, I'm still trying to get my head around not starting a striker.

It’s not just coming from random people talking *, it’s from people who are reputable. I can tell you for a fact that Dembele had his own fitness and nutrition coach so maybe this practice goes back before Neil.

He was obviously firing from the hip a bit and with emotions running high. So i can see why he might have said we need to be more focused and players maybe not as good as they think they are. That will give them a wee jolt and we look like we need it but to say there was players wanting out revealed a bit too much for me.

He's basically attributed a part of the defeat to a lack of commitment from players who don't want to be there. It begs the question, if u knew that why are you playing them? It's also worrying if there is a number of players unhappy in the squad, add to that he ran the risk of alienating a number of players last night. 9 in a row winning players getting it tight, want a away players getting it tight and then continually overlooking squad olayers desperate for games. Sounds like there could be a fair amount of potential disharmony. All in all it was very risky and could backfire big time. We've really got to hope the players react in the right way.
