    What if we wait too long though and the main targets go elsewhere ? We were linked with Pavluchenko at the start of Euro 2008 and now he is wanted by Man U and Chelsea thats why I dont like waiting but if we can bring in quality signings I am happy to wait

    Your right with United but I think they are just keen on keeping one player this summer...

    but at the end of the day we dont have money such as arsenal,man u or chelsea to go out and buy a Deco for 8 million or a Bosingwa for 16 million so we will have to wait and see what gem wee gord has up his sleeve and hopefully its a naka or boruc and not a virgo or donati :50:

    You are spot on McNaka. No club in their right mind should want to sell a player before a major championships in the fact that not only bigger clubs will come after them but bigger money!

    We could sign 10 players on the last day of the window and then you would not be complaining.

    Plus we could hav signed somebosy already but are keeping it under wraps until an 'better' day to release it.

    Why are you frustrated ffs...its 3rd of July!! We hav ages yet...same as the epl teams who have hardly made any signings.

    Rangers have only signed Miller, Velika and Lafferty...i dont thinki they have strenghted in quality...just quantity.

    Celtic's problem here is that in the time its taken to make any signings (paddy aside) people are now expecting quality quality players in the door in a sort of "good things come to those who wait" idea & i think alot of people will be set up for a slight fall because we simply can't afford quality quality players.
    it may well be that we've tried for quality and failed and from here on we'll see "back up" plans signed.
    or, maybe everyones just taking a break for a while.

    I'm dying for some singings but this seems to be the way we do things, so i guess we just have to wait and see! Would rather it was like this than rush in and sign pish like Kenny Misser, Laughable and * me i cant even remember who their third striker was! oh yeah Velicka!
