Any other manager getting knocked out at this stage again would be sacked. Two attempts and nothing. Everyone likes lenny but look at the difference when we went for a high calibre appointment. Undefeated for a year and champions league football. Yes we got snaked to * in the end but the success was unprecedented. Maybe I'm hurting, but this wasn't the playoffs where we meet a decent team. It was an early round, at home ffs.

    Edit

I just heard his interview about players should leave. It wasnt the players fault this time, it was fully tactical. We had enough cut backs and chances to win by 9 but with no strikers what do you think would happen? Not match fit? Play one for 45 the other for 45. Who would have thought? * joke. I'd consider letting Lennon go purely down to that interview and imo risking the dressing room on the 10.

Then why play them if they're not committed.

After that shambles last night we aren't even seeded in both europa qualifiers, I'd be quite surprised if we even make that at this stage tbh.

What Lennon did last night was unforgivable.

Not ONE person looked at that line up and said "ooh I see what you're doing there Neil, very clever". It had shambles written all over it.

I said it during the match thread... Last night we were given the slippy g special.

A confusing personnel line up... Check

Not playing players were they belong... Check

Refusing to change to PROVEN tactics that have worked... Check

Watching us struggle for the entire first half and making no changes at the break... Check

Waiting until the game is gone to make a sub... Check

Throwing his players under the bus and then contradicting himself by "taking responsibility"... Check

He either fixes this mess that HE is responsible for, storms this league and delivers the 10 or he's done.

Unfathomable that last season he switched it up and went two up top and swept away all pretenders... Now reverting to the * that forced the switch up in the first place.

Lennon was lucky he was in an empty paradise last night otherwise he would have felt the pure rage of 60 thousand over his head.

He's on thin thin thin * ice. And Peter Lawell will be under it when it breaks.

I like Neil, he is a celtic man to the very core, but he is a yes man to the board, his stubbornness to change is infuriating.

case in point is Scott Brown, again a celtic hero but there is no room for sentimentality in football, it isnt scott brown fc its celtic fc and all decisions are made for the betterment of the club.

other cases is players being shoe horned into strange positions, last night was the final straw where he went full craig levein and didnt pick a single striker whilst near 9m of strikers sat on the bench, he signed klimala! He obviously doesnt fancy him 1%, taylor is a * donkey also who continues to start each game.

The buck doesnt stop with neil though, that * lawell needs ran out of the club, constabt dithering, drawn out transfer sagas are mentally draining, losing john mcginn was bad, how many more?

why are players signed then not given a single chance? Soro, shved, bayo, the list goes on and on.

then just look at the last few seasons, aek, cluj, ferencvaros, Copenhagen, absolute non entity clubs, dumping us at home ffs.

i honestly do fear for this season and the 10, neil cones out with some baffling * talk.

inly one thing solves this, sign a commanding cb, sign a pacey, hard lwb, sign a winger, get griff up and firing, drop brown and go 352 and actually close teams down and get pacey, we play like that the huns will walk over us!

    im disgusted sadly.

The more I think about it the more I think the no striker upfront was * you to the board because they want to sell Eddie

He needs to stop picking players because they are his pals. Brown is an important dressing room figure but he should not be playing every game. We are a pedestrian team when he plays.

That was last season with with being weak mentally after the break. Now they have nothing to lose all the pressure is on Celtic and not them after last night.

players will be sold and not replaced and our manager has lost it! His inability to change will cost us the 10.

Can't really argue with any of that apart from the Rodgers bit cause he was a * show in Europe.

Eddie going will not be the boards fault (at least not directly) in the same way they weren’t pushing the likes of Dembele or Tierney out the door.

Good players looks to leave when the club fails to progress, and those players have all the power. Eddie will be off, theres no doubt in my mind that will be the case. It way well have been the case even if we had qualified for the CL, but now I’m
    certain of it.

I love Lenny and I’ve pretty much always had his back, but that was just plain feckin’ weird last night.

I think it’s too early to talk about sacking him, but even I accept that his coat is hanging on a shoogly-peg right now.

I hope he can turn things round as I’d love for him to be the one in charge when we win the 10.

Dare I say it if he doesn't get the three points at the weekend the taxi could be ready outside the stadium and there's a ready made caretaker manager till the end of the season in wee Strachan
Some might disagree but things could be coming to a head soon .
