On good faith because he took the team and spurred them on but he has let it rot behind the scenes now

Klimala had more match time in him than any of the Ferencvaros players who were playing their second game,,

They may not all go this year, some may be held back until the following year.

I can see Brown retiring at the end of this season regardless of what happens. But you're right, the club will go under a massive rebuild soon. We should've been preparing for this for a while but instead we buy fringe players at high prices.

Cannot fathom what he felt he was going to achieve from what he said in the post match press conference.

Compounded a bad night for him, with another bad judgement.

Whatever feel good factor and winning over of the doubters (incl myself) he created & achieved last season has been almost totally undone by the last 2.5 weeks, starting with the days off when Boli * off with that tart. And right now its going to be very very hard won back. Destroying the players publicly has just made the job unbelievably harder for himself imo.
Some work needed to get everyone back on the same page & moving forward now.
Securing Euro group football & getting us going in the league ain't gonna be straightforward, we dont have the time for the drama with the games coming thick and fast.
Hard decisions need to be made by our admin, management & players.

It's true though, I think we all thought that. Looking at their recent European record its quite good against decent teams. I thought it would have been a tough game against a team who might have played well against us.

Instead it was like playing a Hibs team who never turned up.

They gave us so much space to play through them, they never really closed us down, they to me didn't even look fit - they looked like they couldn't handle the speed of our play and yet they came up the park a couple of times and done us. * terrible.

It's is beyond questioning his ability at this point. Actually, I think there is no question he doesn't have it. Throwing the players under the bus with unprovable accusations like this not just is not something a man would do, but also the act of someone who doesn't give a * about the team and anything that isn't himself.

I cannot get over his post match comments.

I knew they'd annoy me but he has somehow managed to * it even more for himself whilst also probably no doubt losing a portion of the dressing room.

    What a night.

I really think having someone in charge who "knows" the club in a season like this could prove fatal. It seems to be breaking him.

That's what makes it even more embarrassing. I said in a post in the match thread at HT we should've been setting up in 3-5-2 and attacking * out of them. We're at home, their two best players were out and we were heavy favourites in the game.

Yes pay Ferencvaros respect as with any opponent, no game is a given - but cmon man if we have any ambition at all just go and play our best game and show belief in your players.

Klimala has had no faith shown to him, same as Soro who we brought in to rotate with Brown, same as Connell who looked quality in pre-season.. instead we set up 4-6-0 with 4 central midfielders and players out of form in Forrest & Brown just because they're experienced.

I'm baffled he got it so wrong and even more baffled at his interview.

First half hour or so I thought they looked good. I was always wary of them on the counter as well.

Decent outfit and would * Hibs. Let's be honest.

But a team we should best..nonetheless.

You can't defend a manager who has made this amount of unforgivable decisions tonight.

    He should go

You know what I'm over it. We need to just double down and go on and try to win the next match,....then the next one. One game at a time or the 10 is lost to us. Focus on the one thing that we can achieve. In all honesty that's looking a bit shaky and it just might be that a combination of factors are bringing about a mini implosion and it's someone else's turn to win the league. I wouldn't care as long as it isn't sevco. Depending on how this season pans out we could see a lot of changes for next season.

Aye. Happened a few times now as well.

I remember when we first played Salzburg I think they came to Celtic Park and pumped us 3-1, ripped us apart even though at the time they weren't well know or proven in Europe and we probably didn't know what to expect. Molde also we probably never thought were too good but they also played really well against us, both came here played well and deserved their wins.

This was an opposite where you thought it could have been tough and yet they were * and we had quite an easy game and made a * of it, it's a disgrace.

I always remember Larsson recently talking about stopping the 10.

There was a lot of new foreign players in the squad who didn’t realise the enormity of the season and it actually benefited them. They just went out and played football.

Seems to be the opposite happening here.

Lennon’s comments tonight are very Gerrard like. Throwing players under the bus for his own shortcomings, poor decision making and team selection.

Since returning for his second spell I have been impressed with how much he has matured and mellowed since his first spell. Also the professional and calm manner that he has developed for dealing with the media and the challenges that they bring.

This is the first time since he has returned that I have thought he has completely lost the plot.

Win or lose the league I’m expecting a huge overhaul next summer.

Manager and players. Maybe even more.
