You just don't do it. Especially no now..

Behind the scene's you get them away for the best price possible asap and have player's lined up..

Nope, what do we do? We keep them, play them and then out them when we've been put out of Europe....whilst having no replacements in the door..

    Top stuff that..

That's a * shocking thing for Lennon to say.

He's alienating the quality in the squad. Clearly wants to bring in his own people instead.

He's become too comfortable in the job once again, same as last time.

Lennon’s well and truly made this night worse with his comments. Somehow he’s managed to make a terrible night worse.

Either him or the players he’s referring to need to go ASAP if we want to give ourselves a chance this season.

    We need a clear out!

We're turning into a parochial club. Nothing exists outside of Scotland, and the fans have to take the blame - we've been accepting mediocrity like this for too long, becoming consumed by cult of personalities like 'Broony' and Lennon when in reality, they should be long gone for a club with greater aspirations.

Sometimes I think Celtic fans are just quite happy to do the business in Scotland now. Really sad.

Lennon is a footballing dinosaur. He just has 1 formation and tactic and if that doesn't work he just shouts and swears at the players.

The worst part is everyone knows how to play against him now. Every game is going to be dreadful. The team will struggle to break down an opposition with 10 men in the box, while our defence throw away goals at the other end.

Annoyingly it would be very difficult to replace him right now, unless we already have someone earmarked for the job. And we all know that our management scouting network only extends as far as our shower room.

So if Lenny goes then we're stuck with Kennedy, the man who consistently makes sure our defence couldn't keep a wean out a close. The season ahead looks grim.

Most embarrassing night in a long time. Would take Deila over Lennon tbh.

And if anyone genuinely thinks Lennon isn't a backward step compared to Rodgers (as much of a * he acted), then they need their * heads seen to. Objectively speaking, Rodgers level of management is what we want not this half arsed wannabe Sunday League coach.

He’s probably taken a good £5m-£10m off Edouard’s valuation too.

All it takes is interested clubs to call his agent and find out if Lennon meant him, instant leverage the negotiations.

I would accept it if he made the mistakes and admitted it. Put his hands up.

You can see he is clearly emotionally compromised and some of his comments tonight were those of someone who his cracking. He's breaking, 3 * weeks into the season

Neil Lennon reckons Celtic 's clash with Ferencvaros was EASIER than he anticipated - despite his side slumping to a shock defeat.

The Premiership champions crashed out of Champions League qualifying at the second round as they went down 2-1 at home to the Hungarians.

Lennon 's team dominated for long spells but were stunned by goals from David Siger and Tokmac Nguyen either side of Ryan Christie's second-half equaliser sent the Hoops packing.

The manager buckled up for a pulsating test against Sergei Rebrov's team and feels his players should have made lighter work of their opponents.

But the Irishman admits he must take his share of responsibility after naming a team without a recognised striker in the absence of injured Odsonne Edouard.

He said: "The game was actually a lot easier than what I thought it was going to be, but we didn't take our chances. We had plenty of them.

The first goal we can maybe legislate a little bit, the second goal is really poor decision making. It's individual mistakes. It's cost us against Copenhagen and it's cost us again tonight.

It's not fine going out at this stage of the competition, because we're better than that.

I'm devastated. It shouldn't happen. It's a poor result. We dominated the game, umpteen chances.

"We conceded two really poor goals, so we all have to take responsibility for it.

"Certainly, I do, for the team selection.

"But we had more than enough chances to win the game twice over."

Defensive mistakes cost Celtic dear on both goals with Sigen given the freedom of Parkhead to fire home the opener before Tokmac capitalised on Hatem Abd Elhamed's uncertainty to slot the winner.

A gutted Lennon fears a "malaise" has taken hold of his side as he fired a stark warning to his squad, insisting they're "not as good as they think they are".

He continued: "(The goals were) really poor. The first one, it's only Broony trying to get out to the ball, there's another four or five going wrong side for some reason to get out to the ball.

The second is an individual error we should've dealt with comfortably.

"It's a basic mistake, I'm sick of seeing us make basic defensive mistakes.

We did the same against Copenhagen when we were on top, sometimes you can't legislate for that.

"He (Elhamed) is in the right position, all he has to do is deal with it and he doesn't. And we get punished for it.

"In the final third we should've been better as well as we had so many opportunities to score.

"The players need to buckle up. They've been OK, some of their attitudes has to be better.

"They have to come and want to play for the club.

"I'm just detecting a little bit of malaise, sometimes, among them.

Sometimes they're not as good as what they think they are.

"We have to analyse where we went wrong and make it a season to remember as we go on."

Terrible terrible night. Am not going to defend Lennon on this one, not for one second. I like the guy and have a lot of faith in him but tactically we were wrong and changes didn't come soon enough and when they did that was wrong too. Usually on nights like this is put the blame 100% at the boards feet. But tonight o cannot and will not do that. That being said, I cannot help but wonder. If ajeti come 4/5 weeks ago he may have been match fit for tonight. Would that made a difference? If Shane Duffy is a genuine target and we had him tonight would that have made a difference? Alot of ifs and buts, ultimately Lennon made the wrong decisions and the team wasn't good enough (embarrassingly enough).

We need to really revise our season quick though. If our start is anything to go by it could be a season to remember for all the wrong reasons.

The main thing I cannot get my head around is arguably our two best results last season was Lazio home and away. If memory serves me right we started 352 in both games. Surely between klimala, ajeti and Griff we could have had them prepared weeks in advance of this game to go that way? If not is our training right? Or is this the very lack of commitment to the club Lennon is talking about tonight? (In particular Griffith's)

Dont disagree. Timing all wrong to go about it. Reactive Rage But I bet that was what was going through his head.

I just hope it doesnt fracture the dressing room.
