Lennons team selection had an air of arrogance about it. He thought we were good enough without having a natural striker starting. It is more than that though. Tactics and setup. One up front, full backs sitting high leaving us exposed at the back. We are predictable how we will set up. Any manager will put a physical and fast forward up against us, lob one up the pitch when we are attacking, bingo goal. All too easy and other managers have sussed this out. We struggled away to Killie and Utd, with a lucky late winner. It is his reluctance to change things that frustrates most.

 

It really shouldn't, no one to blame bar Boli. It's been dealt with and the lads out the picture, can't see why the others would be * at anyone bar Boli in this.

We HAVE signed players early but they never get a chance. Shved, Soro, Klimala, O’Connor, Connell, Bayo. We pay millions to sign players and these “projects” (btw i really hate that word) never get their chance then they end up loaned our and eventually sold or leave on free. Don’t see the point for players coming here and for us signing these guys for good money just to rot in the reserves or on the bench

after tonight the three players I can see leaving are Ntcham, Ajer and Eddy.

with the extended window it won’t take much for us to sell and I’m sure we will lose a few now and if that happens we can say goodbye to the 10.

 

Only impact will be disrupting preparation in giving players more game time before this match.

And players heads being turned...we all know ntcham is away but he was the one * player tonight who constantly made himself available to receive the ball or create a pass. So that * that comment

the whole griff and boli issues have * all to do with this as both we can live without and the team we’ve played tonight have played less than us this season already, no excuses.

Dived straight into gerrards book of management tonight throwing the players under the bus like that. There comes a time where he has to take a bit of responsibility and admit he got it badly wrong, which he did tonight.

Edouard will likelybe gone, ajer will almost certainly be gone, potentially ntcham too. * shambles.

 

Granted griff and eddy were out tonight but i can't see why out of the other two we could not have at least covered half or 3/4 of tonight's game. \O/ did not look match fit tonight and there are 1 or 2 other who not up to speed but lenny kept them on for 90.

 

Think he admitted in the interview he got the team wrong.

 

His record in champions league is vastly overrated.

The bias towards it is helped by the fact his direct comparison is snake and people are blinded by their hate for him.
