His passing was terrible tonight. Him and Brown were both at it. Would say it might have been the weather or pitch but seemed like everyone else was managing ok.

Yes, and every time I watch him I see a fantastic player hitting 50 yard passes as he did tonight. Actually worried we'll lose him!

Take away his goals and he’s an absolute diddy.

£7m for a defender who canny handle contact.

He’s a big fairy. Played one good pass tonight and 5 or 6 passed straight to the opposition. If you think he had a good game tonight then best you find another sport to watch cause you know * all about football.

On his game, he’s a good big player.

If he’s slightly off his game, he’s an accident waiting to happen. Said it before and I’ll say it again, he’s not much better than Boyata - if he’s even better at all.

Capable of some Hollywood passes, but also capable of playing 25 yard passes straight to the opposition.

Want to take a look at the game again. But I would maybe consider playing him on the left side centre half of the back line. The amount of times he was short and didn't complete the pass to the right back tonight was unreal.

Big man is now being asked a bit more questions about his ability. Dundee United went after him on Sunday applying pressure when he has the ball. And he struggled.

Struggled with Kebamba at Rugby Park and buckled making a big mistake. And doesn't seem capable of dealing with physical contact (Dykes etc).

He has a few questions to answer in the coming months for me.

Would like to see how he fares with a CB similar to Duffy, he's a good player, but he hasn't started this season well.

He's a dopey big clown sometimes. I've never seen a centre half of his stature lose so many header to guys 2 foot smaller than him. Dithers too much, panics under pressure alot and is too easily put off his game. Apart from that he's decent :56:. Must say there is probably a reason the top clubs in France passed on him before we snapped him up. Needs a big nasty * alongside him

This maybe harsh but it’s like he is turning into the French Efe!

for a guy his size he doesn’t have lose battles with players being physical!

Pretty much a perfect description of him. Needs to concentrate on defending instead of thinking he's Beckenbauer and also start punching his weight. That said, it can't be easy playing in a 2 man defence which is basically what we have given our FBs spend the 90 mins on the left and right wings.

He tries to be a little too perfect at times, but he's needing to sharpen up. The ball over the top needs to be worked on in training. I'm sure it's part of the reason we rarely score from corner kicks. He is a very good defender and people have bought into the idea he's easily bullied, whereas he tries to be a little too perfect.
For example yellow cards. So far he has an impeccable record in that regard. Three games no yellow cards in the league.
His stats read 5 games, 1 goal and two assists. No yellow cards.
Last season 2 yellow cards in the league, 2 yellow cards in Europe.
This would normally be seen as the sign you've not got a bad player. A bad player would be picking up cards all over the place.
However it is also a sign that he's a bit soft in terms of taking one for the team.
Problem with the ball over the top from back to front is the danger isn't a yellow, it's a red.
So this professionalism, is deemed as being a weakness by a press eager to find excuses to attack someone who has been a very good signing.
We could go into it with Ajer, but Ajer is totally committed on the pitch, but with speculation off the pitch.

I would like to think the players who can go bring in plenty of cash for Lenny to go and build his own team.

This idea that not picking up cards for cleaning players out is a weakness is absolutely grasping at straws. He plays a fair game and rarely makes a mistake.
However he tries to be a wee bit perfect all the time, when all you need to do is clear the ball out the park. He maybe needs a little reminding that he plays defense.

We'll raise some funds and we've a long way to go in this season.

It's just a * state of affairs when you win your league and have to play more qualifiers than the team who finished second.

Work on being aggressive and proactive in sniffing out danger instead of being another Caldwell in style and in running your mouth to the press.

Thought he was terrible tbh, the big guy has been great for us for the most part, but last night he looked well off the pace, his passing was terrible and he just looked a bag of nerves.

Definitely mentality/confidence issues with the big man. When the confidence is there he can be imperious in both boxes. If he loses that focus he struggles with pretty much everything.

For me it wasn't just the finish, it was the run that was really impressive.
