That has to be a lesson for him today.

4231 is stale right now. Predictable, slow and lacking creativity.

Brown shouldn’t be starting the vast majority of our games. This is arguably the biggest issue right now. He played Ntcham and Christie out of position today to accommodate a guy who is bringing nothing to our team.

Would like to see Soro at home to a poor Motherwell team next week, Brown was very average.

If Lenny thinks we played well today then we are bang in trouble that was slow and turgid today .
Play was too slow and no pace in midfield but that's what to expect if you play brown and ntcham in midfield and your most dangerous midfielder on the wing .
Elhamed should have started unless there was a problem and frimpong on the wing and 3-5-2 from now on in league games .

His baffling team selections, lack of plan b, late substitutes and stubbornness with regards to rotation of certain players is beginning to * me off.

The guys been a manager for a long time now, there's no excuse for how poor our last two league games have been. Ajeti's winner papered over some serious cracks for me, the performances have been nowhere near good enough.

    - Play 352 and give Eddie a partner
    - Drop Brown
    - Sign a new LWB
    - Integrate guys like Soro into the team
    - Play Forrest at RW
    - No more Christie at RW or Ntcham at CAM
    - Do not sell Rogic

Not the slickest performance but a lot of that was down to some seriously poor finishing/very good goalkeeping.

In the 1st half Eddie has to hit the target from 10 yards out when it breaks and even worse was when Taylor found Ntcham in acres of space at the edge of the box and he takes a horrific touch that killed it.

2nd half Christie was unlucky with the curl into the corner but then should have done better with a few other chances that came his way.

Today could've been a lot more comfortable had we been more clinical.

The midfield need to start dominating games more; too often the shape leaves us looking predictable in attack and wide open on the counter.

@McGuire suggested it but I'd like to see Connell get a chance in the centre spots. Wee bit of guile and dig that we need.

The huns learnt the hard way sticking with a similar formation after Christmas. Teams knew how to counter it and they continually dropped points.

For us, theres a chance we do the same if we continue with this formation. We can still go 3-5-2 right now, play a back 3 of Ajer, Jullien and Elhamed, with Edouard and Elyounoussi up top.

If we score early it’s a completely different proposition.

I was quite impressed with United's pressing and tempo as well. Think they'll do fairly well this season..

Aye I was saying in midfield mate but if we don't get a lefty in soon then I'd play him before Taylor personally..

Seeing people talk about Lenny buy my problem is why he's changed a very fruitful winning formula that compact, stuffy side's couldn't handle..

We saw plenty of yesterday and more Rugby Park to be fair, before last season's winter shutdown so it's no surprise we're struggling and Eddy is being crowded out by playing the same way..

He can blame personnel with Griff and Boli * us over but that still doesn't mean we have to completely wipe a winning system that our defence, central 3 and Eddy plus another are comfortable in..

Why no Klimala or Mo up close to Eddy linking up or when Eddy drops, Klimala on the shoulder breaking with his pace. Would cause havoc..

Connell left wing back in that side..

Dropping Broony and going with McGregor as the 8 and Christie and Ntcham ahead..

Christie out wide. Bitton centre half in a 2. Bringing on Forrest as a left wing back. Ntcham as an out and out 10. There's making it hard and there's overcomplicating thing's to *..

It's time to get 2 or 3 in this week and go with a system that works and a settled 11 for a few week's..

I think we might see a return to the 3-5-2 when Ajeti is fully up and running.

I don't think he sees Klimala as a starter yet and the 2 up top was devastating as we had Griff who played on the shoulder. Playing Ely in there wouldn't have the same impact as both him and Eddie would naturally drop deep.

Griff not putting a graft in has really caught us on the hop and left us having to return to the 4-2-3-1. Although as I say I think yesterday could've been a routine win if we weren't as slack with the chances that came our way.

Aye it's a matter of time 100% bud..

Thing is we changed it again to a 3-5-2 it looked and got the goal and win within minute's..

He clearly doesn't trust what he has in the squad (on Griff I know) at the minute but we have too much talent for side's when Eddy is freed up and joined by another forward. That's why I'd go with Klimala preferably or Mo even up top now(no ideal I know)...as I'm convinced it would work with Klimala running the * off side's in behind and Eddy with more space to drop and make thing's happen..

When we go with 1 up away from home....I bet the home side's must love seeing that system and fancy it..

Aye it wasn't as bad as Rugby Park but still quite alarming many thing's yesterday..

    That does thing's..

At home domestically there's no reason we can't go something like

    McGregor
    Christie/Ntcham
    Mo as the 10

    Behind the 2 up top..

Would smash the life outta these diddy *..

I suspect, given his injury record, he is being kept fresh for midweek game.
