Was great but the opposition was dreadful. Too early to judge.

Is it not about time his thread at least got the spelling of his name right? It's coming up for a year now...

20 goals and 10 assists this season and he can get his name spelled properly.

That's a relief, I'd hate to see it in ex players with the wrong spelling!

I thought he was very quiet again today.

Was excellent against Reykjavik midweek but again like the rest of the team he was struggling to make an impact in the league.

I am tempted to play him more centrally as a 10 and see how he gets on as he hasn’t been making enough of an impact for me out wide but I am aware that he seems to be a player that takes a while to get fully up to speed. Noticed he got hooked today after 60 mins and pretty sure it was the same against Killie?

Said recently in an interview that he played as a 10 a number of times with Basel. Can’t wait until Ajeti is fully match fit to see what damage they can do together.

Its funny how this sort of comment applies to the likes of Elyonoussi when he has a bad game but you would never hear this when referring to James Forrest after hes had a bad game. It would just be outright abuse aimed at Forrest, the part about being a good player wouldnt be mentioned (and lets not pretend Forrest isnt a good player). Its one rule for foreigners and another for homegrown players. By the way this isnt aimed at you, im talking about that bizarre section of the Celtic support that have it in for a guy who has played a huge part in our success over the years. Just an observation.

You are right: homegrown players like Christie, McGregor and Forrest are deeply unpopular among the Celtic support.

In fact, that is probably why Tierney left. He never received the adulation he deserved, whereas Izaguirre could do no wrong because he was Honduran.

Those pesky foreigners always get a free pass. When was the last time you heard a Celtic supporter criticise Ajer, Ntcham, or Rogić?

    Well said.

I know you see the odd post in that thread calling him a Celtic great, or even a Celtic legend, but it is mostly vitriol along the lines of "Forrest had a poor game today". No one would be saying that if he were Kyrgyzstani, would they?!

Every time he comes up against a team of thumpers...he goes missing.

I think he finds plastic pitches worse than most footballers.

Gies peace with that nonsense mate “ Tierney left because he didn’t get the adulation he deserved, totally agree that an element of our fanbase certainly gives Forrest a hard time and actually hope he has a bad game so they can start but honestly don’t know any Celtic fan that has ever giving Tierney a bad time all he ever got was praise and his name chanted at every game

fs was he wanting wee petals flung at his feet and his * hole licked and people on their knee s saying “ we are not worthy KT”
