My point is in your first post you said outside his parents house and it does matter because if it is right outside on his parents walls it’s a personal attack and vandalism on the player and his family if anything it makes the crime much worse

He gains sympathy ...... I don’t know why he’s looking for it to be honest I think any decent fan and that’s a majority can understand why he went .... but he ovb wants everyone to understand that but that’s not the real world you can’t make everyone happy

Well when he’s constantly mentioning Celtic and it’s all over the MSM it’s a bit hard to miss, I have never said anyone is forcing me. I am giving my opinion that I’m fed up listening to his *! It’s that simple really.

Aye that’s why this thread has probably been the busiest on here the last couple of days, are you telling me you haven’t seen Tierney all over any Celtic news the past few days?

If I seen KT then I would wish him well with his career and thank him for his time at paradise.
There will always be a small minority that would give home * but a professional football player has a very short career.

This isn't a dig at you btw but I hate when people say that anyone who plays football professionally to a half decent level will make more than most will make in their lifetime. Tierney wouldn't have been scratching his * waiting on payday when he was with us

There's plenty of threads that are really busy and I don't check if I don't want to read about it. Same with the news. For years I didn't bother reading anything about transfers until I see an official announcement from the club.

JAMES FORREST has urged Celtic fans to forgive Kieran Tierney.

KT revealed yesterday, how hurt he was at being branded a Judas after joining Arsenal.

The Scotland left-back even confessed to being scared to return to Parkhead for a match.

But Forrest hopes that supporters now accept former favourite Tierney’s £25million exit, insisting the defender could play for Celts again one day.

He said: “Everyone knows how mad KT is about Celtic, and maybe it will just take time.

“He worked so hard coming through the youths here and he put in some great performances and had so many great memories with Celtic. He still texts all the boys and still watches all the games he can.

“Over time, he’ll definitely be welcomed back — and you never know, he might play for Celtic again too.

“It was obviously difficult for him, and I remember at the time it was difficult for his family too.

Celtic were the only club he had ever been at and I think that made the move harder for KT.

“He said himself reading that stuff from fans, even though it maybe wasn’t the majority, he’d still be taking it in.

“But I do think over time it will get better and he’ll be welcomed back.”

Asked if Tierney should be invited back for Celtic’s ten-in-a-row celebrations should they win the league this season, Forrest added: “Yeah. Obviously that’s something everyone at the club wants to get, and KT’s been a part of it.

There have been so many players that have been part of that success up to now.

“It’s too far away to talk about that, we’ll hopefully have another successful season.”

Absolutely - some of the posters on here are a joke. KT gave us great service and got the club 25 million when he cost nothing.

The SPFL is a really average league - most clubs except for us and "Rangers" would struggle in the English championship.

It's also a game where one bad tackle can end your career (its not as if KT hasn't had his injury issues).

With Arsenal - he has already won the FA cup and has a great chance of playing regularly in the latter stages of European competitions. With us - the height of achievement is getting to the group stages - that's simply the realistic state of the finances in European football.

I'm sure all the "fans" on here calling him Judas would have turned down the chance to triple their wages and play in one of (if not the best) league in the world with truly world class players (Lacazette, Aubemeyang).

Unless and until there is a change in the TV money situation - Teams in the EPL will always be able to easily outbid\outpay teams in Scotland.

I'm grateful to KT for his service and wish him all the best with Arsenal as I do with any Celtic player whose gave his best in the shirt and whose ability gives them the chance to advance their career beyond the SPFL.

It sounds like you might be happier at Arsenal, too.

No - I'm just a realist. We are the biggest fish in a very small pond in football terms. And we are minnows in World financial terms - even against the lowest EPL teams thanks to their TV deal.

I realize that players like Wanyama, Van Dijk, KT, Dembele (and without a doubt Edouard) will want to further their careers in better leagues - and also earn a lot more money.

Playing in the EPL, or for a big French/Italian/Spanish side will likely increase their chances of international recognition also.

Like I said, as long as they give of their best in a Celtic shirt and don't try to shaft the club by running down their contracts then I wish them all the best.

Soccer is a professional business - I doubt there is a player in the world who would turn down the chance to play in a much better league for 3 times the money.

If we get 2/3 seasons out of a top class player and then are able to sell them on for a good profit, we've done well.

If you have an issue with players who have served the club well and then chosen to move on (making the club a lot of money in the process) then you're in for a lot of disappointment - things will be that way for a long time to come.
