Watched him for Arsenal a couple of times and this seems to be true. He lets the more skilful players play which is such an important part of any team.

I noticed when they’re passing it about the back he’s the one that picks the moment to launch it forward, like for the penalty in the FA cup final, and he always seems to find the man, or put the other team in a difficult position to defend. Part of that, of course, is because he’s hitting the likes of Aubameyang.

It always looks like he’s just launching it on the TV but in the final he hit his man perfectly every time so it must be very deliberate. Honestly I think that was the part of the game Chelsea didn’t expect and couldn’t handle.

Yeh his forward balls are so effective. Arsenal can play football but that option to go direct down the channel is important sometimes and now they really have it.

It helps when you’ve got Aubameyang to play it to, also helps he’s not playing teams camped in their box.

Highest selling top at Arsenal. That’s * insane when you consider you popular/famous players like Aubameyang and Ozil are.

Arsenal star Kieran Tierney says social media furore put a downer on his life-changing move to North London.

He revealed the vitriol led to an irate fan spray-painting 'Judas' near his home - and that he hasn't returned to Celtic Park since the switch.

His £25million Premier League move from Celtic last summer was a club record fee but many supporters felt he was turning his back on the Parkhead club for leaving before having a crack at Nine and 10 In A Row.

Speaking on the Open Goal podcast, he said his biggest mistake was reading the comments of disgruntled Hoops fans on social media.

But he'd have struggled to avoid the criticism after his neighborhood was tagged with the name of the Bible figure.

Tierney said: "It was just sad the way it ended. People turning and all that.

Some people make it out to be what it's not and it's not that at all.

Weeks before when Arsenal had bid people were like that, 'you're a rat if you go, you're terrible, you're never a Celtic fan'.

I'm like, 'this is breaking my heart reading this', and as soon as this gets announced it's going to blow up.

And the worst thing I did when it got announced was go on Twitter. Thousands of tweets, threats and all sorts.

"When I went home, two days later after signing, there was spray paint on the walls, 'Judas' outside my bit."

The transfer was completed in August 2019 but when asked whether he'd returned since the move to the club he grew up at, Tierney said: "No, I'm scared!"

    Tbh it sucks hearing that.

The club accepted an offer. Tierney decided to move on after a very successful few years here. We’ve seen that story unfold many times before, and if you aren’t used to it by now, you should be.

I think fans are a lot harsher on players who move on now, or maybe just have better access to them through social media etc, and feel as though they can say whatever they like to them. This wasn’t a guy leaving to go to a no-mark English club, or to sit on the bench somewhere, or just to collect a pay cheque. He went to Arsenal - good history, very well looked after, straight into the first team and winning trophies.

He would be welcomed back by me. Hope a lot of the guys who contributed to the 10 are on the pitch to celebrate with the fans when we lift the league trophy.
