    Why is there a *'s *'s but not a Genius's Genius?

I'm willing to accept Diego is many folks favourite because he invigorated the mind and did things at the most important times.

The reason I think Messi is a genius is similar to any extraordinary talent whose regard is no the amount of trophies he won, nor the amount of reccord breaking goals, that means nothing to me, it's what he did with the ball, he created so many new copyrights, the nutmeg, what other player has made the look like a player in the way, running accros the box from 40 yards out and top corner it, inventing the quarter back pass for runners, the retreiving the ball on the ground in a two player tackle, the passing the ball into the goal in an unorthodox way when most players and keepers position themselves for the otherdox which is why they make the most save, getting back up from a crunching tackle without complaint because he leaves the hackers on the ground and gets on with a tactical move.

I love Celtic and I was overjoyed when we left him to exacerbate to make ideas is was too little too late.

But the * still scored. I've never seen all the footage of the best players but I'm pretty sure they haven't too.

Messi and Ronaldo teaming up to win the champions league would be fairytale stuff. I wouldnt even care who the team was :giggle1:

Also, can't blame him, Barca are a mess.

Selling Mbappe or Neymar to sign Messi and Ronaldo seems a bit short sighted

I would love to see it though :56:

Take out the equation that Neymar is a complete *, I would still keep Mbappé over him without question.

    Front three of-

    Mbappé Ronaldo Messi

A very short term front three. It also might not work as well as you’d think, unless Ronaldo plays more as a predatory striker and Mbappé does the explosive running Ronaldo used to do and just allow Messi to do his magic.

I am aware it’s short term but a front of three of that no matter how short for would really give PSG the chance of winning the CL. Even if it was just for a couple of seasons.

Let’s face it Ronaldo is 35 now but he keeps himself in unbelievable condition. Messi is 33 and I’m sure has a good few seasons left in him as well.

Ibra is 38 ffs and still going.

Yea that’s true! The shelf life of the modern footballer who doesn’t have any chronic injury problems is a so much more than it used to be. Messi could play the way he does until he’s 40. Ronaldo’s mobility is slightly down from what it was but he still makes for a fantastic centre forward. Two freaks of the game and it’ll be nostalgic day when they retire.

Bartomeu refuses to resign and the player has made it clear he will leave now rather than continue. I expect him at City with Pep

Man City seems like such a natural choice and from a selfish perspective I’d prefer that personally as we’d get to see all of him playing in his twilight years.

I’d have loved him to stay at Barca for his whole career but they are now a complete and utter soulless * and if they think bringing in Koeman (an absolute class footballer for them) as manager is going to tempt him to stay they are wired to the moon.

i wouldnt go that far hes not got the legs he used to have but is still extremely skillfull and and quick footed and is lethal in front of goal

barcelona lost fantastic players and didnt replace them players with like for like quality and the stars theyve kept have gotton older

barcelona needs a lot of energy and speed to get the best from messi nowadays
