It will not surprise me if we have to forfeit 6 points with the Sfa/SPFL citing there is no room to play them. Our lawyers better be all over it and if it goes as far as us taking action it will be the end of SFA as we know it.

I’m not worried. There will always be room and time to play these games. After all, don’t forget, the SFA/SPL extended the league back in 2008 so the huns did not have a backlogged fixture list solely because they were in the UEFA cup final.

I fully expect the huns to come out with a dossier of information that implicates the SFA and the SPFL of server wrongdoings.

Tbh I can't see the SPFL having anything that will mean punishment for Celtic.

The club has followed every regulation by the letter of the law. You cannot write a rule and retrospectively punish someone for it. I'm unsure what Celtic could've done differently to stop this happening.

Our lawyers will have a field day if this goes to court, which it won't because we have more financial clout than the rest of the league combined. It'd be an absolute waste of money on their part.

Other clubs have come out and said that this isn't our fault, they won't have members backing it... Well, maybe one noisy club.

 

I can't see us actually being punished for this. We are not at fault for the actions of one complete * within our squad. A blind man on a galloping horse can see that we cannot be blamed.
