As much as the fans are due an explanation I personally would prefer it to stay in house. Don’t want to feed the media any more ammo than they have.

...weirder things have happened in football, you could imagine if a club lost its first 8 games they could cancel that out by getting the season shut down, hardly a long shot considering the governments yellow card warning yesterday...as cringeworthy that statement was

I was thinking this today! Maybe something is going on in the background with him and his agent getting paid somewhere to do something like this. Him doing it twice has raised an eyebrow! Stranger things do happen which makes this one sound very plausible! When there's money involved, anything is possible! People like him don't really give a * about our club. Most players coming to us now come to us for one reason only, money! Add in a greedy little * and like I said above, anything is possible!

It really isn't very plausible mate. His actions have probably made the chances of anyone being paid out even less likely as it is so early in the season. If people want to fix soccer games/leagues there are 100's of far easier, less risky options all over the world.

What you talking about! Some can afford to have big money on the huns to win the league and afford to lose what they out on it plus being able to pay out all sorts of bribes for the outcome they want and to bet on games getting called off. Just because you can't think it up because of the way you live doesn't mean there's forces out there that can who have hundreds of millions, maybe even a syndicate of them pulling the strings. Anything is possible when money and greed is involved and if you think * like this can't happen, more fool you. Or maybe you and I just see the world as two different places. Me, I see slim, dirt, greed, dishonesty, betrayal every * where I go. My eyes are opened to all sorts of behaviour and the more money involved, the worse people become so something like this is very plausible!
