Sturgeon is on a power trip here as much as I agree with her in a lot of what she says she has contradicted herself here. A child can leave school test negative and go back right away but an * who has been tested twice can't ? Why is Killies game not off as well as a 'safety' measure ?

I can't say i am surprised if it is called off.It won't be the last one this season and it's going to be messy for a long time as people who are young and healthy think the rules do not apply to them.

People need to stop comparing football with education, politics, or transport when it comes abiding by regulations, and how significant any punishment for failing to do so might be.

As much as we all love it, football is entertainment for most and nothing more. The fact it’s going ahead behind closed doors was the right thing to do, but that allowance came with some very clear restrictions, that the wider population also have to abide by.

The players involved are the ones to blame, not anyone in government.

It would have been very immoral to offer odds on an outcome I already knew the result of :fear:

I wouldn't have been surprised to hear football had just been stopped, such is the disbelief/rage within Government just now.
I just don't see how this season is going to manage to be completed, especially when we still have the winter to come. I think, at best, playing each other only twice, home and away, would have been more doable but then Sky wouldn't have had as many games to broadcast.

Silver lining... By the time we play St Mirren Aberdeen we may have Ajeti and a slick well oiled team. I'm not so confident we'd steam roll these two fixtures right now after Killie.

This is a nice wee distraction for her, she’s made a complete * of atleast 5 situations under her watch. Oh look here comes Bolingoli back from Spain, this has got her out of jail.

It’s mental though! This is these guys profession! How could they possibly want to jeopardise a whole season of their livelihoods?! Maybe this will bring the rest of the idiots into line but then again, people, and especially footballers, are stupid.

That's it in a nutshell she made a * of the exam results so needs to be seen to be taking a hard stance here

Hopefully, if this gets confirmed by the league as postponed, then it gives us time to get another striker in and utilise the 3-5-2 more comfortably with another body on board. Matchday 3 and we're talking about hitting the reset button ffs.

Sturgeon is about as much use an ashtray on a motorbike. It’s all ego for her, she hates the football, she hates bevvy, she basically hates anything people enjoy.

Can I ask what is the point in the testing process, if we're are just going to over-ride it or be selective in its application?

If it can't be trusted or reliable in this instance, then how is it any different elsewhere?

As much as the players need to take ownership of this fiasco, Sturgeon also needs to be ousted from government. It is like she is on some sorta quest, to screw with peoples mental health, by stripping away all forms of entertainment or pleasure.

In all honesty I think the testing process is pointless information as you could get your test on a Wednesday afternoon, leave the testing area and contract covid before your result on the Friday and go and interact with others while spreading the virus unknowingly.

It's all they've got at the minute though so it's better than * all I suppose.

The government of Scotland have just implied that a game that doesn’t hold any plausible public health risk will be cancelled ostensibly to prove a point, massive overreach.

Nobody is defending his actions. Sturgeon is taking some heat off herself here no doubt. A child can leave school be tested and return to school immediately provide it comes back as negative ... Boli has tested negative twice. If she is massively concerned about 'safety of players' then why is the Killie game still going ahead ?

Let me make it clear I am in no way shape or form defending Boli he is a * and needs released. I'm just pointing out flaws in what she said
