Loan or punt, just no point in sitting on his * at Celtic.

Toulouse Football Club is probably holding its top striker. According to our information, Jérôme Fougeron is particularly advancing on one profile, that of Vakoun Issouf Bayo. The Ivorian center-forward (2 caps) has been playing for Celtic Glasgow, Scotland, since 2019. Official replacement for Odsonne Edouard, who has exploded since his visit to Toulouse in 2017 (on loan from PSG), Vakoun Issouf Bayo, 23, made 16 appearances for two goals and one assist in his only season with the Greens and Whites.

Before landing in the land of whiskey, the 1m84 player, who can evolve in a point and on the sides of the attack, had achieved feats under the Slovak colors of DAC Dunajska Streda (24 games, 18 goals and 7 assists decisive).

    Estimated at € 500,000

Since the start of the transfer window, Patrice Garande and Damien Comolli have been working on the profile of a scorer to support Aaron Leya Iséka and Efthýmis Kouloúris. Michy Frey's (Fenerbahçe) profile has also been explored, but it looks like Vakoun Bayo is ultimately the lucky winner.

Toulouse would be some move for him, almost certain it'd be a permanent deal.

Edit: just saw they were relegated, never mind :52:

Cheers. Do you think Lenny is open to a permanent move for him?

If we have someone else in mind.

Then it’s best to move him on.

Did we pay 2 mill upfront? Who knows..

With his injuries and barely featuring, just getting a fee and his wages freed up will be welcome in the current climate..

Also will mean we're all but set with whoever we bring in up top as he was 4th in line and Griff isn't 100% yet..

Another from the Congerton eel. Although i think Kolo Toure made the recommendation. Bayo is not good enough. File under the same category as Scepovic; Amido Balde.

Better than a kick up the *. Sometimes just freeing up salaries is what matters.

Might as well punt , doesn’t look like he will make it here , injures haven’t helped but if we’re looking for another striker he will probably be 4th pick

It would be good for both the club and the player.

I would hope the fee would be nearer at least £1m but it would be good to get something back for Bayo and for him to go out and play.

Guys never been good enough for us.

I said a few months back in this thread I watched him warming up either pre game or halftime (can't remember) and he couldn't ping a 10 yard pass to a teammate.

I sat in disbelief as right in front of me time and time again the little triangle of passing would break down with him. Whoever scouted/recommend him needs shot.
