After been quite sticky the old speculation has picked up today/Night. Let’s hope we start to see a bit a movement to begin the week.

He's only 20 and got a lot of potential. Very fast with the ball at his feets, good finisher and a good crosser. He's used to the * plastic pitches as well, as most of the clubs in the Norwegian league plays on them now. He just told Eurosport that he will stay for the remainder of the season to try help Bodø/Glimt bag their first league title ever. Thing is, his contract runs out 31.12.21 and Bodø/Glimt's total operational costs for the entire season is around £2,5m if I'm not completely wrong and that was before Covid-19 set in. His salary is probably in the lower end of the spectrum as well, even for a player in Eliteserien. If Bodø/Glimt gets an offer on him that will secure their finances for the foreseeable with a sell on clause they might be tempted to let him go before the summer transfer window closes.

Edit: His goal against Molde last night

I was warming to the idea of Barkas. But Forster really is the safer bet.

You have sold me :50: I think that is a huge advantage bringing someone in that is already used to plastic pitches as so many players have never played on them before or struggle on them because of their injury history.

    Great goal there.

Sounds very promising and doesn’t sound like he would cost a massive fee but we just have to get in early before other clubs start to take notice. Having two fellow Norwegians Elyounoussi and Ajer here would help him settle.

Duffy just posted 3 videos on Instagram of folk singing "Grace" in a pub... that's even better than a rumour :ireland:

He is young (for a keeper), wanted to join us and pretty good. None of us would be against him but at least with Forster we have no doubt what we will get. He is a signing that would, imo, put fear into other teams in Scotland.

Duffy still has 3 years left on his contract. He will be massively out of our price range

After the last few weeks on Forster I actually would prefer to get barkas in now. Both probably equal qualities as keepers, yet barkas at 26 has a huge sell on potential. Forster has none, we’ll maybe get 3 years out of him. Barkas seemed to of agreed the personal terms pretty quickly so was keen to be here I’m sure. Reckon we’ll have to pay Forster a higher wage too.

    barkas for me

Bring him home! He looks a cracking prospect and they sold their last big prospect Hakon Evjen was sold for just £2.25m, something of that magnitude would probably get a deal done and salary would not be an issue. He would also have the likes of Moi and Ajer here to help him settle in.

I've been edging towards Barkas as well tbh. Would be delighted with Forster back but just get the feeling he's not as keen as Barkas at being here

Maybe he does, say he comes and has a great CL campaign, he could put himself back in the shop window. Am sure Chelsea bid something like 3.5M for Gordon a few years back, think he was 34 at the time.

Would like to know if our interest in Yonatan Cohen was genuine in January. I feel that along with a CB and GK, and after Ajeti, next position has to be out wide.

Great left foot, can play either side, bit of height. European experience.
