Good post and bang on. I'm not Broonie biggest fan but by * does he put the work in. When Rat arrived it was obvious Brown had let a few things slip and Rat reignited his hunger and desire to lift his form. If Leigh was half as commited to doing the same he wouldn't be in this situation.

That's some dietary advice !!!.The story is hes unfit to go on a trip to build of his matc sharpness and fitness. That's the story nothing else really apart from it's very disappointing that a senior international player has came back not at the agreed level of fitness. If you can't see why that's wrong then fair enough

Hes came back unfit, so unfit that his manager had deemed him not ready for pre sesson friendlies.

If he can't play in the 1st games we've had in 4 * months then he's not going to have the match sharpness to be ready for start of the season and will in turn miss vital league games and champions league qualifiers.

That in a nutshell is how he has let his manager and club down. Its really pretty * simple.

 

I bet he does but can't mind him even missing a game never mind being dropped for being unfit. Every single player has a diet and fitness program that they get told what to eat and drink, that what happens as I'm sure you are aware. Some players can eat probably anything and not put on weight, whereas others look at a chip and will put weight on. Leigh is long enough in the game to know his body and what he can eat or not, or missing a certain part of training and be okay. But it seems that whatever the "Unfit" issue is was a big enough reason for him to be basically dropped from the 1st teams pre season.

 

How is he publicly shamed ? Club didn’t say much in their statement only that he didn’t travel

I havnt read a paper in years or clicked their online pish. The club stated he was not going to France bcoz he had to work on his fitness not some journalist.

No way are the situations with Griffiths and lennon comparable and its embarrassing that you've even tried to compare them. Lenny was targeted by bigoted morons bcoz he was an Irish Catholic no other reason.

Griffiths is getting stuck bcoz he's too * lazy to stick to a fitness programme
