Couldn’t give a * how many kebabs he eats or how many Huns he winds on on Ticktok. If that’s what keeps him happy I’m all for it. When’s he’s on the field for Celtic he always gives his all, he has been a superb player for us the whole time he’s been with us. I’m more than thankful for his commitment to us. We’re lucky to have him.

My takeaway pardon the pun from this is he knows its a massive season coming up he knew when he was to be back for and he's showed up in bad shape for me that's unprofessional. Do we know the full story maybe not yet but time will tell I just think if he had a niggle we would have been made aware.

Didn't you see my earlier post where I included Johnston. And why isn't he away well a small issue as he's coming back from the cruciate injury sustained at St Johnstone we he played on but was clearly injured.

Hes been publicly shamed by the club for not doing what 30 of his teammates managed to do. The reaction I think Lennon would have wanted was for him to take it as a boot up the * and keep a low profile and put the serious graft in. Instead he's on Instagram quoting Rocky Balboa and posting a picture which could appear as a petulant act of saying look at me there's nothing wrong with my physique and it's the club that's wrong.

If, and its only an if but IF Lennon was 50/50 on whether to give another chance I'd think his last 2 posts mite just have shifted Lennon thinking slightly.

He's his own worst enemy at times whether that's his fitness, his diet or his behaviour.

We want to be a champions league club, we want to be an elite club. I don't think it's too much to ask then that our players behave professionally then.

Someone posted the pics of Brown sitting drunk in the street eating a kebab a few years ago. The rat for all his faults brought our professional standards up to a far higher level due to his philosophy and beliefs in training and fitness. Only last week he spoke of his disapproval of the pics of brown so much so that he invited him to London and felt the need to bring it up.

 

It's a length injury and he sustained it Jan 29th. Usually it's a 6 month sort of recovery but that's if everything goes well. As I said I included him in the players left behind and surmised that that would be why.
