Kris Commons is a Celtic fan, his wife is a Celtic fan and his kids are Celtic fans. He’s just a * trying to toe a line for a pay cheque.

Gordon isn’t a Celtic fan and has an even worse attitude. He will be all over us like a rash at every opportunity - the miserable big goofy *.

Any offer was an insult to our young goalkeepers. Neil Lennon is the person who is meant to be deciding to offer this guy anything at all. Doohan hazard must be asking what's the point

I think the fact the next best offer is St. Mirren tells you all you need to know.

It should be a reality check for him.

    It won't be.

His ego has been out of control ever since Sunderland paid a record fee for him.

This will be someone else's fault, just like his keeping flaps are defenders fault. He will no doubt be blaming lack of playing time for his current predicament, and not the fact that he would rather blame his teammates for his short comings rather than address the fact that he was making the same errors and refusing to learn from them for over 5 years.

The fact that monster munch came out of his cave to rally to his defence... Labelling Celtic "disloyal" tells you all you need to know. If that degenerate thinks we should offer Gordon a bumper contract to stay then it proves we're doing the right thing.

But if wee greetin face Craig needs advice, he can always get onto the blower and ask his pal "greegsy" if there's a 2nd string spot over at sevco... It wouldnt be the first time Craig has went hat in hand to the bigot dome.

In fact... It wouldn't surprise me if he already hasn't, as it doesn't look like his beloved diets are in a position to massage his ego right now.

Amazing how much hate he is now getting, had some bad games but also some absolutely brilliant ones, overall he served the club fairly well regardless if he was a fan or not. Hes at tail end of his career, wants more money, Celtic rightly won't give it and he wants to go, big * deal. He's not the first and last Celtic player to do that, pathetic bedwetters everywhere on this thread trying to find obscure reasons to justify their hate of him.

so you're telling me that we offered him less cash than St Mirren if it was a big pay day he would stay with us as we'd be offering more than them and Hearts etc. Don't think a big payday is his motive just wants to play and cause we can't guarantee that he is wetting himself. Some of his bad games mate his attitude was Abraham Lincoln to everything never taking the blame always blaming his defenders etc.

Even the Salzburg * up he was claiming wasn't his fault when he gave it straight to they guy. He's a * and your entitled to your opinion but I'm not the only one who thinks this

    Obscure?

Most of us have given plenty reasons that have been plain for all to see. He takes zero accountability for his flaws and throws team mates under the bus. That's enough for me.

I think people read wayyy too much into those post match reactions. I'm not really in a position to tell, but surely given the opposition there is going to be a level of awareness there for Gordon. As a professional, that does not stop anyone from doing their job to the best of their ability, but it's not unusual for someone scoring goals against their former clubs to have muted reactions or chose not to celebrate, such as Henrik when he scored for Barca against us, for example.

CRAIG GORDON is reportedly considering a return to his former club Hearts.

The Celtic goalkeeper last week turned down an offer to stay at Parkhead after being offered a 'vastly reduced' deal.

The shot-stopper has spent the last six seasons at the Premiership champions with his current contract set to expire.

St Mirren have been linked with a move for the Scotland international, but a report in the Daily Mail today suggests that the 37-year-old is plotting a route back to Tynecastle.

That would likely see Gordon playing his football in the Scottish Championship, with Hearts staring at relegation baring a unanimous reconstruction vote today.

Speaking last week to The Scottish Sun, Gordon said: "With Celtic, the ball is in their court.

"They’ve made an offer but they know they’ll need to come back with something better.

"My contract has lapsed and I’m free to talk to anybody. That’s what I intend to do over the next few weeks.

"St Mirren have made me a good offer and other clubs have also been in touch.

"As things stand I haven’t closed the door on anybody."

That's definitely a valid and fair point mate.

I think the circumstances around that game and the nature of its ending mean it holds a special place for us fans. Easy to forget things like this.

However, it wouldn't have taken much to go and applaud our support with the rest of his teammates in what looked like the biggest show of togetherness at a time it was needed most given the rat's actions.

His reaction after this MONUMENTAL * up was classic Gordon.

He couldn't blame his teammates on that occassion but STILL wouldnt hold his hands up.

It was just "good striker play".

I'm delighted the diets want him home. He'll be going to team that less than two years ago, as he sat in Celtics media room, in Celtic colours, told the rags that Hearts we're gonna challenge for the title.

    Enjoy the championship. You walloper.

It really disappoints me we offered Gordon a deal over Hayes tbh.

Players, management and directors are only ever temporary custodians at football clubs.

Gordon was free to sign, made a decent contribution for a few seasons in a very successful team, but now has to face facts it's over and better keepers are available/cheaper.

No doubt he probably feels upset the 'Chelsea' move never materialised, but I was staggered they would seriously consider him, and convinced that it was just his agent trying to force new terms.

    As for his attitud.
Even when we were winning trophies and he was picked, his face looked like a wet bank holiday. He was never going to turn into Mr Chuckles on the bench!

Yes. As someone said, this might be a time to be ruthlessly pragmatic and not sentimental. But releasing Hayes and Jozo but trying to keep Gordon is absurd.

Both Gordon and Bain are not good enough for Europe and frankly we could win the league with Doohan and Hazard.

Hope we get Forster, Bain is able back up then you have the young goalies.

Doubt we will be offering him anything else anyway.
