That sounds like Mafia to me.

Serial Killers traditionally use knives (when a Gunsmith investigates a Serial Killer, the result is usually negative), although Minty might have changed that.

 

Why are you so certain that it is a Serial Killer? You might be right, but two kills on odd nights suggests that there are two factions.

Am I the only person picking up on this?

If you are right, and there is a Serial Killer, it is probably @V For Vendetta. We know for a fact that he was roleblocked on the only night when a kill seemingly failed.

Unless, of course, you believe that the Serial Killer can only kill on odd nights, but you found @Aidan O’Shea's claim that he could only protect people on odd nights 'bizarre', so why would you believe that so readily?

 

Have we ever had two Mafia factions in a game before?

 

im not certain. We’ve been assuming there has been a serial killer the whole game, not just me. I’m trying to find a way to justify our belief. A serial killer is more plausible than 2 mafia teams which we have never had as far as I can remember. I found Aidans claim about odd night actions as nurse bizarre cause any night he has had an action some extra has died

 

Aye theres been 2 mafia teams before a couple of times, once is Taz's game and another.

Also 2 games ago when i hosted, i rotated the serial killer's kills so that they could only kill on even nights and Aliens on odd.

 

If there is a serial killer and mafia allowing 2 kills per night with only a smaller amount of players than usual in the game could have finished the game too quick. Maybe kills on odd nights / even nights balanced the game

 

To be honest if @Aidan O’Shea is telling the truth and can only Nurse on odd nights it would make sense by way of balanxe that there would be a SK/Killing role that could only kill on odd nights as well.

It would also explain why there was only 1 death on N2 (even number - for those that haven't completed their Heinneman Maths yet )

 

I still find it weird Aidan , went from suspecting V, then backed off cause Marie doubted her role block. Then decided to Doc someone you were unsure about when there was proven town role out there.
