Paddy Roberts missed an open goal, we had Bitton basically giving up, Griffiths hitting the underside of the bar, the ball bouncing on the line and hitting Foderingham's back and bouncing out of play....when else would that ever happen?

Their goals came from a defensive shambles and a once-in-a-career strike.

We should have wiped the floor with them but it was nowhere near as bad as some make out. Even given how badly we under-performed, we should've still won that game.

That one off their keepers back was from a free-kick if I remember right mate?

You never ever see that luck. The gods were with them all day. Even the Rogic penalty the ball moving just before..

That free-kick was mental though off the woodwork then off his back and goes out of play. Jammy *..

Aye, we in the North Stand in line with the goals that day and couldn't believe the luck for it to hit his back and bounce that way.

First thing my Granda said was compare that to Jelavic hitting both posts and then it creeping in, in the 2011 League Cup Final.

The luck they carry is something else.

    Dear Brendan
What's your obsession with our team now you've * off of your own volition, all you seem to harp on about is Celtic, why don't you concentrate on your own team, coz we couldn't give a flying * about you.
Do us both a favour go talk * to someone who cares.

BRENDAN RODGERS has picked out the Invincible-clinching Scottish Cup Final as the one game he would love to relive.

Rodgers made history in his first season at Parkhead as Celtic became the Scottish first team to complete a clean sweep unbeaten.

The once-in-a-lifetime feat was clinched in the most dramatic fashion as Tom Rogic's stoppage-time winner secured the Treble against Aberdeen.

And Rodgers - who lifted seven trophies in two-and-a-half years in Glasgow - admits it's a moment he will never forget.

He told the Sky Sports Football Show: "I was very fortunate to go to the 2014 World Cup Final in Brazil which was an amazing spectacle seeing the Argentines desperate to win.

    "That was absolutely incredible.

But I suppose as a career, if I was to look at it and choose one, I would always go back to the day we won the Treble and became totally Invincible at Celtic.

"We beat Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup Final to win the Treble. It was only the third [*fourth] Treble in the history of the club and that day, that feeling, was just absolutely amazing for everyone; family, friends, supporters and the players.

"I would go back to that feeling and probably enjoy it even more than I did that day."

Asked if that rainy day at Hampden was a career highlight, the ex-Liverpool boss added: "As a special event with the pressure and everything that was around that first season

"I was aware of the history of the club so I knew it had only been done by two other managers before.

"You try to keep it cool and you try to stay focused.

"But that realisation of going into history was absolutely incredible, and how we won it.

"We won it in extra-time, the last minutes of the game, it was just a phenomenal feeling."

Meanwhile Rodgers has been using the lockdown to improve his cooking skills - after finally learning how to make an OMELETTE

The Leicester City manager revealed: "I'm hopeless at cooking. I've never been able to.

"I've never had time but I suppose if you have enough passion for it then you'd probably do it.

"But I've just been absolutely hopeless. I've learnt how to do an omelette during this lockdown period.

"So that's how bad I've been! So definitely, as a new skill, to be able to cook would be amazing

Brendan Rodgers has revealed he was told to ditch Scott Brown from his Celtic squad after taking over as Parkhead boss in 2016.

Brown had struggled, somewhat, the previous season under Ronny Deila at Celtic but Rodgers was willing to have a one-on-one chat with his captain before making any decision.

The Northern Irishman was told by an unnamed person that Brown was past his best and would not fit the style of play the new manager would want his team to play. But Rodgers' faith paid off as the midfielder roared back to his best and helped his side to a treble Treble.

"He was an incredible captain for me," Rodgers told the Daily Record. "But funny enough, before I joined, someone rang me and was telling me about the job and one of the first things they said was, ‘If you’re going to play how you want to play there Brendan, you’re probably going to have to move on Scott’."

Brown - before the unveiling of Rodgers - had been pictured on an Edinburgh street eating pizza after a particularly hectic night out before the 2015 League Cup final, which did not sit well with everyone.

But no-nonsense Rodgers laid down the law over the issue never happening again. And it worked. "Obviously leading into that game Scott was sat on the street having had a night out," Rodgers added.

"And the point I was making to him straight away was, 'You can’t do that – if you want to be the best player you possibly can be and you want to lead a club of Celtic’s status, an institution, then you’re one of the pillars of this club.’

"And from that meeting on he was incredible for me.”He’s a much better player than people give him credit for."

Even when Rodgers was at Celtic Broony said it was Strachan who helped him change his game style to add longevity to his career. Really shows how delusional Rodgers is.
